Anyone else reckon this report about Trump insulting war dead is bullshit?

Not that there's much Trump might say that would surprise us, but it just sounds like something someone would make up to discredit him.

No, not really. I doubt anyone is actually surprised by the "revelations", which just goes to show how bad the democrats are performing.watt price tully wrote:When it comes from a judge and a sister of the POTUS being secretly recorded it is a smidgeon more than just another day.stui magpie wrote:^

kill for collingwood!
its almost certainly true. In the list of appalling and unacceptable things he’s done to endanger the entire World, it’s quite trivial, though.David wrote:Anyone else reckon this report about Trump insulting war dead is bullshit?

I think it's Bullshit for the simple reason of timing. It's not that I don't believe that Trump is capable of making a remark like that, it's just that it supposedly happened in 2018 and only surfaces now, 2 months before an election. If it was true it would have got out ages ago.David wrote:Anyone else reckon this report about Trump insulting war dead is bullshit?

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

I love when he does the "c'mon, man" thing (also, "aw, I shouldn’t have said that").

That's my take. I got into an argument with Biden supporters about this yesterday. I asked them if there was any evidence to support the accusation and they thought I was being unreasonbable for not joining the pile on without question.David wrote:^ Apparently it comes from a disgruntled senior adviser (probably John Kelly). So whether it’s true, exaggerated or totally fabricated, we can be sure it’s motivated by spite.

Except for his family..... no wait....Pies4shaw wrote:All of Trump’s advisors are eventually disgruntled, so that’s scarcely a basis for doubting the veracity of the report - the man is an actual arsehole and everyone ultimately seems to hate him.
Carry on
