Honestly though, who packed themselves when Maynard coughed up that goal late in the game?

Yep. I thought that was going to cost us the game.

If you watch the replay, Cameron took a good mark in D50. He has two Magpies wide open around the 50M arch. He went to Maynard in the pocket, who still had both options open. He rushed the kick and the smother happened. He would have had time to go back and hit either player.

I'm sure this will be highlighted in the game review.

With 5 mins on the clock, and a 13 point lead, it would have just about iced the game had we gotten out. We could have easily won this game by 20 points. But it goes down as an absolute classic 1 point win. And Maynard learns a valuable lesson.

Yes I said same thing at the time after cursing at the smother.....even live you see the 2 players free so wasn’t the wrong decision to move it on just had to go back a bit more to get the kick over the mark.

^Speaking of Noble, how good has he been this season!!... Not to mention his goal = A+

If Maynard could eliminate that 1 or 2 goals he gives away each game it would please me no end.

Whilst I don't have a direct line to Bucks in the coaches box [You're welcome], I did suggest to the TV very early that we swap ruck match ups and have Cameron on NicNat and Grundy dominate their #2.
