VFL Brothers?

Post by Presti35 »

Does this ever work?

Would bringing Riley Grundy into the VFL squad be a good idea? Does it help Brodie in any way, being closer to his brother? If we were to go after Angus Brayshaw, would it be a good idea to offer his brother, Hamish, a VFL spot?

In the past, we had Scott Pendleburys brothers at different stages.

Just a random thought.

Got history. Wayne & Max Richardson, Ray, Tony & Neville Shaw, Mark and Steve Richardson, let alone the Coventry’s, Collier’s, Richards’, Daicos’s, etc. Loved it when younger siblings used to follow their elder brothers to their club or players would just turn up off the street to train with a VFL club and get games (eg. Paul Meldrum at Carlscum, Trevor Barker going to train with St. Kilda while still at Cheltenham High with Piesnchess and me, Harry O’Brien driving from WA to train with Collingwood etc.)
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
