Why are newspapers like The New York Times still saying that Florida is too close to call when their own needle gives Trump a 95+% chance of holding it?

Is it too early to freak out about Michigan and Wisconsin? I know we're expecting early voting to reel those margins in a bit, but those early figures don't look encouraging.

Most of the states that Biden and Trump were expected to win have been called.

Pretty much all the battleground states haven't been added to the tally yet.

The numbers for Biden and Trump are for Electoral College votes. Different states deliver different numbers of Electoral College votes. Small states less, bigger states more)

(You're forgiven for being confused. I don't undestand it all myself. Each state has its own way of conducting the ballot.)
