Trump leads by just 463 votes in Georgia. The last batch of 1,106 votes was 955 to 151 (ie, 86%) in Biden's favour.

wpt and Tannin - just looking at your figures, I think you might be taking them from fivethirtyeight's second-hand feed? In case you might be interested, Nate Silver actually sources his data, I think, from https://results.decisiondeskhq.com/ I've been getting my slightly more up-to-date figures from there.

Hows this for a scenario: (just for fun)

Trump loses Georgia, gains Arizona, wins Nevada, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and Alaska ; for a total of 269.

This would mean that Biden gets Arizona subtracted but Georgia added for a total of 269.

What happens (if I have the numbers right)?

I had to look it up, but here’s the answer:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contingent_election
A presidential contingent election is decided by a vote of the United States House of Representatives, while a vice-presidential contingent election is decided by a vote of the United States Senate. During a contingent election, each state's House delegation casts one en bloc vote to determine the president, rather than a vote from each representative. Senators, on the other hand, cast votes individually for vice president.

[...]

Pursuant to the 12th Amendment, the House of Representatives is required to go into session immediately after the counting of the electoral votes to vote for president if no candidate for the office receives a majority of the electoral votes. In this event, the House is limited to choosing from among the three candidates who received the most electoral votes. Each state delegation votes en bloc, with each state having a single vote. A candidate is required to receive an absolute majority of state delegation votes (currently 26 votes) in order for that candidate to become the president-elect. The House continues balloting until it elects a president. As a consequence of the state delegation voting method, the party that holds the majority in the House could still lose the contingent election if the minority party holds the majority of state delegations. The District of Columbia, which is not a state, does not receive a vote (the 23rd Amendment, which granted the district electoral votes, did not also give it a vote in contingent elections).
Even though the Dems control the house, Republicans narrowly hold more state majorities, so I think Trump’s the winner in that scenario (unless some Republicans break ranks to vote for Biden). Pence would be VP either way.

Meanwhile, Trump's former campaign director, fraudster, and David's favourite "reliable" source of dirt on Joe Biden, Steve Bannon, has called for medical expert Dr Fauci to be beheaded.

Biden is now in front by almost 1,100 votes in Georgia. No further counting announcements in Pennsylvania.

Hopefully we get to sing the Pennsylvania Polka (an old favourite) with good ol’ fashion family values:

Lol, for real?

Biden’s in front in Pennsylvania, too, so game over. Only question now is whether he gets to 300, and I’m thinking he will.

The margins are presently:

Arizona - Biden ahead by about 41,300. The remaining votes lean to Trump but, it appears, not sufficiently strongly for Trump to catch Biden.

Georgia - Biden ahead by 1,586. This will go to a recount.

Nevada - Biden ahead by a little over 20,000. The remaining votes are expected to favour Biden.

Pennsylvania - Biden ahead by 13,387. The remaining votes are expected to lean to Biden.

Yes David, for real. You have been hyperventillating about the media conspiracy to ignore Bannon's Biden lies (all except for the Murcoch scumrags, which would print anything) and now he is banned from Twitter for calling for both the director of the CIA and Dr Fauci to be beheaded and have their heads placed on spikes outside the White House.

Nice chap.
