It's funny the left over here do nothing but bitch and whinge about the media, hell you've now got an ex PM blaming the media for him losing and his party being hated by majority of Australians, yet you then take the medias word that everyone hates Trump, its quite remarkable.
You hate bias in the media in Australia and support it in the US
You’re making assumptions about the people that didn’t vote and how they think. You have no idea whatsoever what these people think about Trump. You’re just making assumptions to back up your erroneous optinion that the majority of Americans don’t care about Trump.I think the fact that you keep carping on this issue suggests to me that you are a Trump supporter after all, despite your protestations.
All we can talk about are the facts.I know Trump supporters don’t like dealing with facts because it upsets their altered view of reality..But these are the facts about the election. The turnout was the highest since 1900 and Biden received a clear majority of those who voted. He actually received the highest number of votes of any presidential candidate in history.Bringing up people who didn’t vote is totally irrelevant to the argument, because we don’t know what they think,or how they would have voted if they had cast a vote. It’s a smokescreen, totally irrelevant to the isssue at hand. All we know for certain is that Trump clearly lost among those who did choose to vote,
And you cannot say with anymore fact than I am claiming that the majority of Americans hated Trump. You are simply implying that because 32% of Americans voted for Biden and only 30% for Trump that the 32% represent the rest of the country which is false.
It’s the same reasoning that people who hate Morrison don’t get, unless you give the people a reason to change government and Labor keep failing with poor leaders. In America as it’s not compulsory, you need to make the people believe there is a reason to change. Sure Biden got the majority of people who cared enough to vote. But it doesn’t change the fact more people didn’t vote for either of them than did. So more people do not hate Trump enough to bother voting than actually voted for Biden.

I don’t think he would have "romped it in" either. But I would have taken a narrow Sanders win over a more comfortable Biden one any day, of course, as would anyone who wanted a better future for the country and the world.
As for being naive, do you think anyone in the media-pundit class who assured us of Clinton’s victory in 2016 and predicted a much more comfortable Biden win than eventuated can really assess such things with with any degree of confidence? If so, please jump into a time machine, travel back five years ago and try to make the argument to them that Sanders would be a significantly less viable general election candidate than Trump without being laughed out of the room.

Nonsense, David. America desperately needs healing and stability and some sort of progress towards peace and unity. Sanders cannot provide that. Biden can.
(Disclaimer: I vastly prefer Sanders' policies to Biden's. But it doesn't matter what I like. Or what you like. It only matters what is possible. Sanders would have struggled to win election, and if elected, would have had zero chance of governing that madhouse of a country effectively.)
A list of people unable to accept reality - all have yet to acknowledge that Biden is President Elect and that Trump has been democratically voted out by millions of Americans.

We are now starting to see the real reason for the Trump Campaign's dangerous and nonsensical strategy of firing off dozens of frivolous lawsuits which even they know have zero chance of overturning the election result.
Money.
The Trump Campaign spent huge sums on advertising in the last weeks of the election. It was money they didn't have (they blew their whole budget earlier in the year, trying to turn around Trump's surging unpopularity as the the death toll mounted).
Now they can't pay it back. The law suits are going nowhere. They will drag them out as long as they possibly can, desperately maintaining the twin fictions that they have some kind of merit, and that they could overturn such a clear majority.
Why? Because they are tapping into their supporters' pockets, begging for donations "for the legal bills". Buried in the fine print, we discover that they can actually use the money to pay off their election campaign debts.
(Unless I miss my guess, they will also be syphoning off plenty into their expense accounts as long as it lasts. That would be, of course, for useful and necessary items such as houses and Porsches. We know that Trump's first campaign director is up on major fraud charges to do with pocketing public donations, and that Trump's immediately previous campaign director helped himself to no less than $39 million before he was fired. How much are the current ones pocketing?)
I see the mad King still hasn’t conceded defeat yet.And to be honest I don’t think he ever will.
This is what I think will happen.
He’ll scuttle out of the White House before he’s forcibly ejected, and set up a government in exile in one of his Florida resorts,Mirage Del Delusiono. He’ll set up a mock Oval Office in the resort. His aids, the ones that he hasn’t fired yet for disloyalty, will bring him blank sheets of paper to sign,so that he’ll think he’s actually signing government bills.
He’ll hold the occasional press conference, but only with people who are nice to him, like Fox News,Breitbart, and the good people at Sky News Australia.
He’ll hold rallies in all the swing states,in front of his adoring fans, who either don’t know or care that he’s no longer President.
He’ll play plenty of golf, and cheat at that like he does in everything else in life.
And then of course, there’s always the prospect of him going to jail for tax fraud and and evasion.
So you can see, there’s plenty for Don to look forward to in the coming years. It’s not all bad news.
