What about coaching and teaching: to me it reflects poorly on the coaching staff that they can’t coach and manage.
Which again, confirms to me that Nick Maxwell has NO place at the club as a culture manager.

The sooner we stop idolising our playing heroes and giving them jobs at the club because of their success as a player, the sooner we will improve.

Hopefully the penny drops with our supporters and they demand a new board and Pres. Ed is the main issue and no change in personnel will help unless he is gone.

Mods, feel free to delete this thread. I just want everyone to know the facts about Stevo’s trade and not be so hard on the club. Yeah it was poorly handled through the media, but it’s too late now. It was just so maddening hearing Stevo express shock when he’s had talks throughout the year about those issues, it was laughable. Good on the club for not exploding on him and moving on. I just don’t like seeing the media pile on the club as the bad guy and poor innocent Stephenson’s mistreated. Especially when most in the media know the facts.

The irony is that the player who seemingly has the attitude issues is the player who appears to have drawn closest to the pin in terms of “ a fair and reasonable trade “
The other two were simply given away.

Can’t believe we barely got to watch Stephenson in full flight for more than a couple of seasons.

I hope he kicks 5 on new recruit N.Jetta next season.

Yeah I suspect Geoff Walsh had a lot to say in the North trades. Bulldogs bent us over and we were so desperate for cap space we thought of our happy place.

As ive said elsewhere, WHY was it only lowly Nth and the Dogs who were interested in these two, why werent the big clubs, Hawks, Dons, Blues, Cats, Eagles etc, why only low skint Nth, who dont have a coach, very few members, and the Dogs ? Do these big Clubs know something bout them we are not privvy too, we dont know, re personal issues of them ? Im just playing devils advocate here, dont jump down my throat, im just asking a logical question. I recall the Tigers really wanted Treloar a few yrs back, if they knew he was up for grabs, why didnt they show interest in him NOW, for their team ?

The length of his contract would be the obvious answer.
