Stevo doesn’t look like a middleweight though and I doubt that he could take a man out with one punch!

I maybe from another generation but I totally agree with your comment. In my case if my son behaved like that, he would have had some severe consequences from especially his mother and me. His parents must be furious and embarrassed at the reflection on their lack of competent parenting. Stevo has raised a huge question mark regarding his upbringing.

I don;t think Lazza that the conclusion you draw is what Maurs64 meant. Stevo has raised a huge question mark regarding his upbringing?? No, that is completely not what this is about. Bucks has raised a huge question mark about his ability to bring forward elite talent.

Ok happy to withdraw my comments if why Maurs64 stated that Stevo was obnoxious is explained? What about his alleged poor behaviour and attitude?

Stephenson’s manager already working the PR, polishing his halo. Poor little Jaiden has a “chip on his shoulder” for how unfairly the evil Collingwood club treated him, and he can’t wait to play us. The little turd refused to apologise for his hotel crime, refused to pull his head in at the club for other crap (after all, he’s 21 and getting paid $600k a year so he’s a god), and here he is spinning bullshit. If only he’d apologised for his shit behaviour, listened to staff and senior players, and learnt a lesson from his betting scandal. You know what, I hope someone runs through him and he craps his pants like he did a few games this year. Hey Jaiden, only North was interested in you, and mainly because Geoff Walsh pulled a few strings. Don’t let your fat head grow any bigger because it’ll be easier to deflate.

Unbelievable, the little shit refused to do weights work and adjust his physical game when at the Pies (and we told him repeatedly, with support to do it) and here he is on the news saying he’s going to do all of that at North.

^ i do hope he enjoys playing in front of North Melb crowds, capacity, 7000 at best, no more, home games, where even the seagulls outnumber the fans.

What the guy says he’ll do and what he actually does will, I suspect, be one of the reasons why he is no longer on our list.

Let’s see if he can go on and have a 200 game career or disappear once his contract expires as another player with a stack of skill but not a lot between the ears....

Now I want you to compare the weight of these 2 players. Both drafted in the same year.
I have compiled their weights from the collingwoodfc website over the 3 years to track weight gain/loss.
The larger image is 2020, the lower 2 are 2018/2019 stats.

Which of these players do you think knew where the gym was located and was serious about making the next step in football?

Protip, it wasnt stevo

Stevo only put on 1kg.....1 damn kg since joining an AFL club in 3 years. Murphy put on 6KG

Sometimes human nature helps shape physical and mental states of a person. It is possible that the environment at Collingwood didn’t suit a laid back player like him whereas at North he might find it much better suited to his needs, and he might blossom in a happy place. That is not to completely absolve Collingwood from criticism for not developing Stevo with success. Who knows? The club are virtually saying nothing and treating us fans like 5 year olds who can’t handle the truth, just like Jack Nicholson’s character in “A few good men”. The club is full of hidden agendas I reckon.
