Back in Toc, first time I've been on my own in 5 months.
Garden is thanking me for getting the watering system back on, few little jobs done including buzzing the top of the back screen door so it now actually closes properly. Went down to the Terminus pub for a few schooners once I'd had enough working.
Beer and Life, both are better when chilled. Geez I needed this.

Thanks. I'm very proud of him. He writes songs because he's into playing the keyboard and singing. The rest of his writing is just for Uni. But the work he produced for Uni was very good. They're going use one of the assignments he did this year as an example for next year's students when they have to do it. He's studying for his teaching degree.

Nah, not worried. I'm confident I'll ber able to get into NSW if and when I want to, and if I can't get back, DILLIGAF.
Even if they put the army up there again, I've spoken to a few people up there and learned a few tricks.

Youngest finished her post graduate law course yesterday and tended her resignation at her workplace in one of the courts where she's been working for the last 5 years.
Wow, I still remember taking her to her first day of school in prep at Malvern Community School.
She's done very well and has a pretty flash law firm to work for in February.

Not sure but she’s working for a pretty flash corporate law firm: she’s enjoyed her clerkships in employment law and litigation. The company she’ll be working for give their grads 3x 6 month rotations so I think that way she’ll work out what her future holds.think positive wrote:Well done indeed, what kind of law doesShe hope to go into?

First big ride 88 km today: I've been building up to it. Had a really tough but satisfying spin class on Saturday morning. This morning Olivers Hill in Frankston and back, met up with riding friends in Black Rock for coffee which was nice then we rode to St Kilda for a Christmas brunch.
I rode by my self joing sone ithers you meet randomly on the way "up" to Frankston then up Olivers Hill (doing as slow as 8 km / hr at one time but hitting 64 km's / hour on the way down.
Just before Seaford a group of 4 were doing about 36 km / hour and I was barely hanging on but managed to do so till Mordialloc when I got "dropped" - great workout.
Got home resting up for 10 minutes and my phone went off: I stupidly put my hand up to do an unexpected pm shift over time in the ED. First time I'd been there since April.
