Blues upped the pressure in the 3rd, Pies not able to clear the ball from the backline.

That last free to Carlton was a disgrace. Luckily it had zero impact on the result.

Well done AFLW Collingwood women.

Go pies

When you kick 3of your 4 goals from dubious free kicks you can get close.

That Livingstone is a big unit. Played well. Tarni Brown made a good debut.

Not sure how many of the other games I can watch but the bars are hopefully reopened Tuesday.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

Agree. And there should have been a free to Collingwood for holding the ball moments before.

Well there's only been one game for the Pies and 2 for the AFLW this season. But it seems like things are a bit better. Both games were close, one game had 9 goals and the other had 14 goals kicked. Hopefully we dont see the return of games with only 3 or 4 goals kicked for the entire game.

I think the umpiring was ok until the final quarter.

There was a bit of excitement around the ground and that was good to see.

The game plan seemed much better than previous years. It was crazy to see them kicking sideways or to a teammate that wasn't open. That didnt seem to happen much in this game, thank God.

One thing tho, it's fine if you cant kick 40M. But if you cant, then dont try to make it.

I thought Stacey Livingstone was very close to best on ground. With Brittany
Bonnici and Chloe Molloy up there too. Schleicher was also good.

I'm going to say this now; Chloe Molloy will be the best player in the competition.

The jumper looked good too.

What was the allowed crowd capacity? Media say it was a full house (to the extent allowed by COVID).

I wonder what the numbers for the other matches were. If they were also full, that's not a bad start for paid attendance. It'd be a big step forward if the AFLW can pay for itself.

Capacity at Ikon Park was 7,000. Official crowd was 6712.

Punt Road was a sellout but I think the maximum there was 1200 - there is not as much grandstand seating there. Official crowd 988.

Almost 4000 at the Freo game. Pies vs Blues was the biggest crowd of the weekend.
