More I think I can't see the Lockdown ending Thursday as we won't be sure that it's stopped.

Take another week or 2 to get that.

Restrictions might Change and Different areas have Different Rules

In his live update, Martin Foley says that both new cases are linked to the Holiday Inn outbreak. They've been in isolation since 12 February. New tier 1 exposure sites have been added (those are already on the DHHS website).

I agree Dave, all cases were close contacts and isolated when we went into lockdown so no chance they’ll let us out if they keep getting cases

The government should've constructed a state of the art, purpose built quarantine centre instead of using hotels. It would have more than paid for itself, by avoiding most of the economic losses caused by lockdowns.

Problem is in Victoria especially they felt hq was leak proof and 100% safe, no risk involved. Hence their treating it as a babysitting exercise run by the jobs department.

Even now they’ve seen what can happen they still arrogantly believed there was no chance of it spreading to workers so had no contingency plans in place.

Serious props tothe NSW Covid check in app. So quick and easy to use.

Once you're registered, it stores your name and mobile number. To check in somewhere you scan the QR code, it brings up your name and number, you tap to confirm that's correct, it brings up your location as in business and the date and time and you just click checkin.

Checking out is even easier, just open the App, go to recent checkins and check out.

The contact tracers are getting great data

Yeah, it's ordinary. I've tried to use it a couple of times.

Because they were so slow to get something a lot of businesses got their own which means instead of having a nice central database for contact tracers to use, the data is all over the shop in multiple places and varying degrees of acxuracy

Most places still using pen and paper it seems!

It was funny when we were coming out of the second lockdown and Dans excuse was no other government had one ready when they came out of lockdown, he was right, but that was lockdown one and every other state had theirs running for months whilst Victoria was locked down...

Luckily now we’ve got the History major running the health department so we’ll be fine...
