Since he’s personally eradicated COVID from the State - and, now the rest of Australia has followed his lead, the whole country - it won’t matter which vaccine he gets.

Bandt demonstrating his utter lack of common sense by rocking up to his injection wearing a skivy, meaning the nurse had to roll the sleeve up 3cm at a time to get to his shoulder. Ever heard of a T shirt dickhead?

I don't see the big deal whether Andrews gets it now or later. It's just a photo op for politicians, basically. Despite the obsessive carry-on about the threat posed by anti-vaxxers, the fact is that they're a pretty small minority, and after a year of having our lives curtailed due to the pandemic, most Australians don't exactly need to see ScoMo getting the jab in order to line up for it en masse (and honestly, given the esteem that most of these politicians are held in, you would have thought seeing them endorse it is only going to have a counterproductive effect anyway!)

Agreed, but they still get criticised for it.

Adam Banned from the Greens and Tony Elbow-Knees have also been offered to get it early, wonder if Dandrews will do the same and get in early?
The pollies should and in Vic the opposition and cross benchers too. I would stagger it with the leaders first.

I’m more than happy to give it Bernie Finn.

Anything a politician does is political.

Next.

Although wearing a skivvy means he didn’t think this through but can look like a cool dork nonetheless.

Still 14 active community cases in Victoria means the only thing he personally eradicated was over 800 Victorians.

Unlike in NSW, 30+ days since the last active community case and over a week since there was an active case in the community.

Gladys achieved elimination of the virus without once needing to use more than a targeted lockdown. :P

Yeah, but Gladys had a functioning Health Dept. I'd like to see how she would have done with a total basket case like the DHHS.

As a former Health Minister, Andrews should have known better than recreate the monster, but he's finally admitted it's farked and pulled it apart again, separating the Health and the Human Services into 2 departments. Just the websites haven't caught up yet.

Are you using Eddie as your fact checker :D

Australia's entry into deaths happened in aged care facilities in which state? Newmarch House says hello as does the Ruby Princess which an investigation showed that NSW f*cked up in the beginning.

Victoria of course has not exported the virus elsewhere

Of course both states have learnt from their experiences and continue to learn.

It's just that some learn it much more slowly than others.

An update on Victoria from the ABC blog:
This is the sixth day in a row that Victoria has recorded no new cases of COVID-19.

The total number of COVID-19 cases now linked to the Holiday Inn remains at 22.

There are now 10 active cases of COVID linked to the Holiday Inn cluster; four were cleared yesterday.

There are 16 active cases in Victoria, made up of 10 locally acquired cases, a decrease of four since yesterday, and six overseas acquired cases, unchanged since yesterday. There are six cases in hotel quarantine.

There are two COVID-19 patients in hospital in Victoria.

Victoria exported the virus into NSW starting a cluster which was more than twice the size of the black rock cluster which they never found the source of...

Yeah but it was Dan who created the DHHS, no one to blame but himself.

Wrong and a matter of record that it's wrong. The Victorian exported Dandemic was responsible for the Crossroads cluster.

The way Dan runs things, the next thing likely to happen is that the truck carrying the Covid vaccine to the vaccination centres will hit the Montague St Bridge, ruining millions of doses.

Dan will accept full accountability, not for the incident but for calling an inquiry to determine who was driving the truck. After several months and over $7 million dollars, with everyone interviewed stating that they have no knowledge of who was driving the truck, the inquiry will release it's findings that the truck was driving itself and provide a number of recommendations on how self driving trucks should in future avoid the Montague St Bridge.

Dan will shortly after call a press conference to tell everyone how Victoria's self driving trucks are now gold standard, best in class, and that every other state should be copying how we do things. 2 days later, another truckload of Vaccine hits the Montague St bridge and Dan locks the state down for 5 days on advice from the CMO that if people are not locked away until they cool down, the right dishonorable twice elected Premier of Melbourne is very likely to find himself tarred, feathered and lynched on the Parliament House flagpole.

Typical CEO's from the Air Lines only Care about Themselves and there Money and don't care about People's Lives and Health.

Yes it be nice for People to Travel but we should be Risking People's Lives and Health.

The CEO on Current Affair came accross as a A-Hole saying he does not care about the People who die from Covid

Or maybe he's worried about the 3.6 million people employed by airlines worldwide. What sort of CEO would he be if he came across as pessimistic and defeatist.
