THis time the fCommonwealth f*cks up big time. The Liberal party and contracting out / privatising the ideological fundamentalists.
As we know they contract a company to give the Vaccines to the elderly. Turns out Dr Nick from the Simpsons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGYpsNpg1bw was too qualified so they give it to some person who the prvate company employed by the Commomnwealth Government gives 4 times the amount required. The aged residents are now in hospital. Of course picked up by a nurse.
Gee this privatisation is great (not)
Look how great the nursing homes are now look at this. A disgrace. Scotty the little turd should be facing heat over this catastrophic f*ckup.
We need to see the funding links bewteen this private group and donations and other links to the Liberal party: it would be par for the course.
This fish rots at Scotty's head.

Interesting I heard on the radio on my morning walk that a couple of big scale TV productions will be moving from Melbourne to Sydney.
1 of them was that Ninja Warrior thing I think, but they were both large, expensive and filmed in front of a large audience.
The production companies and insurers decided not to risk filming here when Dan could decide to lock down the state again at a moments notice, costing them heaps of money and potentially messing their production time frames.
Whether you would watch these shows or not is beside the point, it's a number of jobs and economic benefit that would have been in Melbourne and will now be in Sydney.
It also demonstrates which state business has confidence in. Clue, it's not Victoria.

In other news, 2 locally acquired cases in Victoria today. Both have been in isolation so hopefully Dan won't lock us down again.
Secondly, heard a clip that Dan is now going to trial using robots in hotel quarantine. Not clear if they autonomous or remote controlled but they'll have a camera, microphone and speaker.
Hopefully at least these things won't go rooting the hotel guests, but then again if they rig them up with vibrating appendages and/or suction function it might keep the guests quieter.

From the ABC blog:
Mask rules and caps on social gatherings in Victoria will be eased from midnight tonight and offices will be allowed 75 per cent of their workforce on site, Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed.
From 11:59pm tonight, masks will only be required in high-risk settings such as public transport, rideshare cars and taxis, large indoor retail settings and aged care facilities.
People will be allowed to have up to 30 visitors to the home per day, while outdoor gatherings in public spaces will increase to a cap of 100 people.
For the first time since last March, both the public and private sector will be able to have up to 75 per cent of their staff in the office.

Slow and steady without exporting the virus. Well done Victorians and well done the twice elected Premier of Victoria the right honourable Daniel Andrews.Pies4shaw wrote:From the ABC blog:

Congratulations to NSW and Premier Gladys Berejiklian, leading the way for Australia.
The 5 Millionth Covid test conducted today. 41 days without community transmission and no active community cases despite bringing in 3,000 people from oversea into hotel quarantine each week.
The People's Republic of Danistan, you may have noticed, stopped bringing in overseas arrivals, again.
NSW has also administered more than double the doses of Vaccine that Victoria has, leading the country with 7500.
NSW doing all the heavy lifting. Thank you Gladys.
