Captain Jack calls time. -Who shall be new captain?

Jack Hellier has retired after being VFL captain for the past 8 seasons.

In somewhat of a shock, we now will be on the search for a new VFL captain.

Happy retirement to Jack.

Been a great servant for our VFL team.

I wonder who we'll be looking at for captain?

I always liked the idea of going for a former AFL player. But I guess that didnt work out too well after Damien Pevrill.

Yes, sorry to see that Hellier is done. I loved watching him wheel around onto that big raking right-foot drop punt. He was a great example for the rest of the team.

It really can't be an easy job leading a squad of players when the side always contains some elite young players who know the captain is never going to get their chance to play in the seniors. It must take great courage and leadership skill to take that on.

I take it that Jack wanted to continue as Captain JW? Who is your pick to replace him dude?
