Collingwood's Jordan Membrey is the latest AFLW player to suffer a serious knee injury, with the Magpies confirming the forward will miss the rest of the season.

Bugger. Jordan has just come back into the team last week after an ankle injury and had slotted in nicely against the Roos. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Mems.
This may however give someone like Amelia Velardo an opportunity to push for selection in the 1sts.

Had a chat to Jordan at the game on Sunday.
Although disappointed with the injury she was very upbeat. Said that all the girls had got around her especially Ash Brazill who is coming back form her own knee reco. She and the other girls who did knees last weekend had msg each other, offering support. Glad that she was at a club like Collingwood where she would get the best treatment.
Operation will be in the next week or 2 then the recovery and rehab starts.
