Looks like Annastacia has let the virus run rampant in Brisbane, what is with Labor government's and incompetence?

QLD have the proximity to PNG amongst other things to deal with. PNG are exploding with the Corona-Virus with limited services and limtited capacity to deal with it. I wouldn't be adding them to any list just yet. I'm not sure if the current case is related to that but recent past one's have been.

This is a nasty contagious virus despite your denialism.

Be grateful that Berijiklian is catching up to Victoria with the number of clear days & I for one congratulate her in trying to catch up to Victoria with the number of clear days and for not repeating her mistske of exporting the virus as she did earlier this year.

It's now a month clear in Victoria and I'm sure you'll congratulate the twice elected Premier of Victoria the right honorable Daniel Andrews for a job well done. Congratuations to James Merlio the acting Premier who is making this a smooth transition

You probably all remember last year's vision of the guy in the red budgie smugglers that was wrestling with 3 police on the grass next to Bondi Beach, when the beach was closed due to covid. He was charged with various trespass/assault police matters. It looked like the police were lucky that he didn't try too hard to resist at the time as they didn't know how to control him. Anyway, at the time he told the news crews that he had come through a private property onto the grass, which was not closed off. It appears that he was correct as the charges have been withdrawn, the police have agreed to pay $25k legal costs to him and he is now preparing to sue the police for assault.

Sounds like VicPol and their constant withdrawal of false charges whenever someone turns up to cover the latest ridiculous protest by the bored left wing protestors and police arrest them for their 'own safety'.

Well yes Gladys is doing a great job, but she isn't interested in catching up to Victoria, because despite taking on 50% of Australia's quarantine responsibilities whilst Victoria have suspended their program for the majority of the last 12 months, NSW continues to trail Victoria in case numbers by a large number. If it was a cricket game the scoreboard would read:

NSW trails Victoria by 15,206 cases with 776 less dead.

But thankfully the cases allegedly exported by NSW pales into insignificance compared to the large clusters that spread from Victoria's Dansaster last year.

Of course Danny boy taking a drunken stumble down the stairs has been a god send for Victoria, maybe someone actually pushed him for the good of the state?

^ Yes, In 2021 Gladys has not exported the virus a second time and while we in Victoria celebrate 1 clear month of no community cases and much less than than that in NSW. Congratulations to both Premiers.

Gotta love your fetish over Gladys supposedly exporting the virus    When Dan exported it to Sydney in the crossroads cluster, Gladys just dealt with it.

Didn't you find it pleasant to be up in the land of the free? Being able to go into a shopping centre or supermarket without mask?

As of 6pm tonight people are able to go into a supermarket in Victoria without wearing a mask for the first time since July 2020. Fkn 8 months. NSW has been doing it mask free the whole time, keeping on doing the hotel quarantine that Dan keeps fvcking up, bringing in 3,000 internationals per week, yet NSW has only had 6.5% of the deaths that Dan has and 10% of the community cases.

And for some reason, despite all the evidence to the contrary, there exists a rusted on group of people who genuinely think that Dan has done the best job of all the Premiers in the country when he's clearly the worst.

Bragging at a press conference that the Vic Hotel quarantine was superior to every other state only a few days before he had to lock the state down, again and suspend hotel quarantine, again. Great look. NOT. :P

How well do you think people will take it when he inevitably buggers up the Hotel Quarantine for the 3rd time and locks down the state again? My guess is Not Well. 8)

Dave, there is a very clear difference between how the states effectively handle it.

Yes there will be cases, when Dan is in charge any cases sees immediate lockdowns and ridiculous restrictions, when Dan is not in charge, states learn to live with a few cases and back contact tracing teams to do their jobs.

Yet this awesome new system Victoria got that was supposed to be able to deal with 500 cases a day, failed with just 2 cases...

Maybe the Premier and former Minister for Health should be seeing what works in every other state and copying them, instead of letting his ego get in the way and having to invent the wheel.

He refused ADF support to do it his way, Victoria took 6 months longer than everyone else to bring in QR codes because they had to design their own system instead of using what was already used successfully everywhere else.

Yet as Stui said, he is too busy gloating about how no one wants to visit SA, days before Victoria become the site of the worst Covid outbreak in Australia and Victorians became locked out of every other state for months. He gloated about how great Victoria's hotel quarantine system was days before it failed.

His minister who is on holidays in QLD disguised as 'sick leave' disappeared when the last outbreak occurred after footage emerged of her saying in Parliament they had no contingency plans in place for outbreaks because it was impossible to happen...

But still people think all Victorians have the same amnesia that infected the entire Victorian Government last year that caused Dan to forget every conversation he had for months and we are supposed to forget Dan exporting the virus to the Sydney and resulting in a real cluster, not the handful of cases Victoria got over Christmas, allegedly from NSW, yet the gold standard contact tracing never did find patient zero...

How in the F2KC does anyone think it's still real, after all the science-fiction the last 12 months? It's so see-through.

Use your brains and critically think, people. FFS!!

Are you for real? I understand some might think that it has been taken too seriously and restrictions have been too harsh but to say it is a hoax is just insane.
Cheers big ears

^ Brazil, whose leader has been consistently pretending COVID isn't a serious concern, reported 3,386 deaths today. Some hoax. Typically, hoaxes are not quite so routinely fatal.
