Lockdown will lift early in Brisbane, ending at midday today, after just one new case of community transmission that's linked to an existing cluster of COVID-19.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said testing rates, low case numbers, and the fact that community transmission had been linked to existing cases, allowed authorities to give the green light.
"Easter is good to go," she said.

In Victoria, now 35 days in a row of no new community cases. Still the one international flight crew member in Hotel Quarantine. Accordingly, there is 1 active case in the State but no-one in hospital with COVID. 15,829 test results were reported.
And, once again, especially for eddiesmith and Stui's WA Plumber friend, here's the wastewater testing results link: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/wastewater- ... ng-results . In summary, the two sites at which there were detections last week have been retested and COVID is now undetected. It is now apparent, by the way, that what DHHS does is, in substance, put out wastewater treatment alerts by suburb based on the theoretical list of places from which a positive test might have been sourced. So, when DHHS lists a bunch of suburbs in the East and a bunch of suburbs in the West - thereby giving the impression that COVID may be rampant - what it actually means is that they had a positive test on two days at different sites and the wastewater tested at those sites could have come from a wide variety of places.

Two reported cases of the low platelet blood clots have been reported here in the last day. One is a 44 year old male. Details of the other haven’t been reported.Dave The Man wrote:I went with my Dad to Doctors and Asked about the Vaccine and said I should still get the Vaccine as I am High Risk and I take Walfrin with stops people getting Clots and it was mostly YOUNG women getting Clots
Canada has suspended the use of Astra Zeneca on those younger than 55.

This to anyone with half a brain saw this for political ploy it was by the feds: all states Labour and Liberals (there was bipartisanship here) . It was so lame and and a transparent decsion that they stopped using it as the Feds were caught out trying to deflect responsbility for the organizational f*ckup
This isn't rocket science
Then again it is fast Eddie
