Im getting a little embarrassed about hearing that, eddie wanted to make sure i get the credit and thanks to eddie i did re his column in the sun yesterday.

To be honest i dont and couldnt ask for anything else im just so happy my idea was accepted.

Congratulations Joffa, a terrific contribution to our great game. I have been to a number of sportsmans night with Sheedy talking and at every one he has mentioned the outstanding record of McHale, so I think the medal will mean a great deal to the winning coach every year. Also people who have never heard of McHale and his achievements are now aware of the prince of coaches. Once again, well done.

You have proved 2 important things:
1. The football world recognises a great Collingwood man for a remarkable carer, and:
2. Supporters can still have a voice if the point is valid.

A victory for Collingwood and a victory for "the man in the outer".

Not a bad ad for the power of the net either.

Now what can get a Lou Richards medal for?
