This is the problem with Buckley sycophants. You have to make it ridiculously obvious with sarcasm and irony that it isn’t working.
The Eddie appointment of Buckley has done irrefutable damage to the side.
If Buckley loved the club, he would have put himself second and waiting for Malthouse to get the most out of the 2010 and 2011 team. He would have gone to Eddie and made that known. But it has always been about Buckley.
If Buckley loved the club he would have resigned by now.
We all would have liked him to win a Premiership but as a player and coach over a quarter of a century he’s been unable to achieve the holy grail.
The problem with Collingwood is we think all former great players can be our messiah. If it were any other coach, they wouldn’t have survived beyond 2014.
You’d think we’d have learnt from the Tony Shaw coaching debacle. Or taken note of the Kevin Bartlett, James Hird and Voss examples.
Hawthorn with an embarrassment of riches in coaching stocks emanating from former players hasn’t in the last 30 years appointed one of their own. And they’ve been the most successful club.
The quicker we make a transition to another coach - caretaker or not - the quicker we can begin the rebuild. If you wait until the end of the season, there will be few coaches who would want to take on a basket case with a few months to make things happen in the off season.
The Buckley era is over. It’s done. Time for him to go.

Korda has no legitimacy so he won't sack Buckley.
Ed has managed to leave the CFC in a worse state than he found it.
That team is a rabble. Devoid of any potential. Barely VFL standard.
I predicted Buckley's tenure would end in abject failure 10 years ago
It is worse than that. Much, much worse.
Wooden spoon is locked in.
Won't another game for the year.
Stick a fork in 'em. They're done.

I would think you're the Carlton supporter if you want Collingwood to continue to not be successful.kymbo5@yahoo.com.au wrote:Just reading all these (predictable) posts and wondering is there anyone on this board who actually SUPPORTS Collingwood. So you don’t agree with some of the views. That’s the point of these forums. Crying out to the mods is a poor reaction.kymbo5@yahoo.com.au wrote:Just reading all these (predictable) posts and wondering is there anyone on this board who actually SUPPORTS Collingwood. You should be asking the Collingwood Administration to show more of the Side by Side culture (Treloar, Stevo & Phillips are probably not feeling the love) before demanding anything more from the loyal and pissed off Collingwood suporters on here. And yes, we are all Collingwood people, just had a gut full of all the bullshit. The club won't listen so all we can do is vent on here. If you don't like it then piss off and stop sooking up to the mods.kymbo5@yahoo.com.au wrote:Just reading all these (predictable) posts and wondering is there anyone on this board who actually SUPPORTS Collingwood. One doesn't have to be a Buckley "sychophant" to be repulsed by the use of derogatory, useless, abusive terms.Sensei Grundy wrote:This is the problem with Buckley sycophants. You have to make it ridiculously obvious with sarcasm and irony that it isn’t working.
.
If you bothered to read other people's posts, you would realize that nobody else resorts to name calling to get their message about the coaching situation across.

Agree with these sections of your comment. That is why i was not jubilant about Korda. He is linked to the entire ancien regime.1970 wrote:Korda has no legitimacy so he won't sack Buckley.

Now Eddie appears to be attempting to influence the selection of the next president.
This is unacceptable.
His opinion needs to be completely obliterated from the discussion.
Issue is that the other contendor, Brown, is a close mate of Eddie.
That gives a conduit for Eddie to keep influencing our club. And i will say this now, his influence is becoming noxious.
Can we cut a clean swathe through this morass?

You can have your view on here but I can't? Constructive feedback and criticism is fine, welcome even. Personal attacks on the coach, a club legend and players who are on the main, notching up more AFL games than people on here are not.
P.S. The Mods comment was sarcasm. Sorry you missed that.
