Can you check this out Mods?
did you go to the game?

we had to sit amongst drugcheat fans, whilst other drugcheat fans sat in our premium seats, and watch 8 very exciting minutes followed by about 84 really really shit ones for the most part, do you want us to just wear it and sit in a circle singing ****? have you watched the team play? the dumb decisions which quite frankly partly seem to be born of a too scared to try something new mentality. if for no other reason than being stale and scared we need a new coach NOW. not in 4 weeks time, NOW. it doesnt matter if he can coach anymore, we cannot change 22 players, and lets not forget they aint MMs boys anymore, this is Bux team. none of us want this outcome, i seriously doubt there is one person here who didnt want Buckley to coach a premiership. and he nearly did. but now we are back to shit skills, shit decisions, and a lot of it seems to be because of a shit game plan. if there is one. its got me stumped.

so yes in answer to your question i am SIDE BY SIDE, sitting in the cold, wet, hard $$%^%%$ seats clapping and singing as they come out onto the ground, cheering like mad when we score, abusing the umpires when they call deliberate out for us and play on for them, you know SUPPORTING my team. but that doesnt mean i have to wear shit like this quietly, this is a FORUM, ill let you google that.

shortly ill download and post the highlight shots i took, but there aint many!!!

we finished 6th? thrashed the eagles on their turf, laid down and rolled over for the $$%^%%$ cats, who went on to be runners up and now we are 17th. SEVENTEENTH. thank god for north! why? who did we lose? we lost Treloar who as many point out on here, was not always playing to our benefit, and even when he was he wasnt scoring goals. but treating him like shit maybe brought us some bad black cat karma. and we lost Stevo, yes ive heard all the rumours and i even know for sure some are true, but why why WHY could no one in the club get such a bright future star under control? just imagine if it was in the time of Swan, Shaw, Didak? all did worse shit.

and tell me this because i really want to know, if, as he has said himself, its not his job to motivate the players JUST WHOS JOB IS IT??

its done, its time to move on, its time to bring in a fresh voice. it doesnt matter if its poor coaching, or just a loss of trust over the preseason shit, its done. end of story. there is no coming back from this without change.

i really wish there was, but yeah, i cant see it. but you know what? take a guess where my arse will be next Saturday at 145pm?
Wow TP. Just wish I could write like you. Just nailed my feelings. You are a Collingwood legend, yourself. Clearly will live and die by the sword for the Pies. When there is something rotten in Denmark, the true Collingwood supporters call it out.
cheers mate, im bleeding bad right now, this just hurts. i walked into a family get together last night, only to have my turncoat (bulldogs, magpies back to dogs) sister in law says straight up hi, thanks for letting me stay at your beach house, so do we want to talk footy? I said go for it and turned to hubby and said give me the keys ill see you later. as i pointed out i dont do that, i dont stick the boot in, i dont need to, ive watched 5 GF losses live, and a few more on tv, i dont need to be an arsehole. it wasnt mentioned again, hubby said something this morning and i said if you think im gunna be trolled by a prickle arsed turncoat youve got another thing coming, and i dont give a **** who they are!!

so yes, on my behalf and many others here, such as your self, I am so sick of this "what kind of supporter are you" crap being posted every week. and im not even drunk yet! pass the Jim!

Just think about that for a second.
not to mention the fear of the club signing him to another 2 years on the sly like last time, who would we want? pretty sure we can offer it to an assistant at another club? im sure there is at least one experienced but not current coach out there who would like the challenge, on a temporary basis.
So if Bucks was sacked or he walked tomorrow, who would be the coach for the remainder of the year starting tomorrow?

There is NO way a senior assistant at another club would break their contract mid season to be a caretaker coach with no guarantee to actually get the job full time.

Which leaves us with only three options:

1. Robert Harvey
2. Brenton Sanderson
3. Hayden Skipworth
Then it is Hayden Skipworth
Free Julian Assange!!

Yes. This has been posted. We could for example offer an assistant coach at another club the coaching position at Collingwood, and he could break his contract because it would be a promotion.
However, what I am worried about is..who would break the security of his contract in order to preside over our current catastrophe???
And without guarantee that he would be renewed??
Not likely.
We need to offer an assistant coach the coaching role for the next 2 or 3 years to attract one over right now.
I am in favour, but we need to get our selection processes right.
i agree, hopefully there is truth to the Graeme Wright is looking into it rumour.

Whilst I enjoy slitting my wrists as much as the next person, here are a few positives from today's "same old shit".
1. Cameron kicked 3 goals and showed more that most of us would've expected. What now for Cox?
2. Daics got a run in the middle.
3. McCreery, once again, showed that he belongs at AFL level.
4. Murphy had his first game back in what is, hopefully, an extended stay in the seniors.

4th idea, we bite the bullet, take a financial soft cap hit or whatever it is - because this is an actual crisis... and we rehire 'Whiskers/Buddha/Hocking' to be caretaker coach until the due process is done in finding a new head coach.

If we could get the best coach this week to replace Buckley that would be great but that would mean not going through a proper selection process.
We at Collingwood should know more than most the danger with “captains calls” without due process being followed.

^ Buddha Hocking would be a good choice for caretaker coach if he was still at the club.

Can anyone think of a LONG term successful coach who took over mid- season? Not a loaded question :). Just asking if it's happened in recent times.

T P, nobody can ever, ever accuse u of being not a loyal Magpie, you are the personification of a loyal Collingwood person, absolutely, we hear your passion and your pain, loud and clear ! I agree with all u said here. Look on Bucks obviously let him see the season out, then he can do what Shaw did and walk, No good sacking a club legend let him walk out seasons end as he has said he would, Interim fill in coaches, rarely work, look at Rhys Shaw and Teague,, the Blues have to get old Worsfold in to help Teague cope what a humiliation for Teague that is ! Look, lets just get some guys back on the field, our main 4, and keep playing the kids, as ive said elsewhere just play all our youngsters, many as we can and get something positive out if this season at the very least. Start rebuild now, and maybe get some good draft picks. Better days will come, but its going to take some time now, thats for sure, :)

HI Wolf...but why would they accept, after we shafted them so arrogantly and viciously...and no guarantee of any tenure??
What is required now is not stopgap measures, but right now a massive decision process: what assistant coach can we grab for the next 3 years, and which assistant coaches can we offer tenure to for the next 3 years?
Sando, Harvey need to be moved on...that is clear...the sooner the better. I think we should organise now, in the next few weeks, to target our new assistant coaches...but in order to offer them a 3 year deal, not just a pathetic 6 months until the end of the year.

.. I hate to say trust me.. but trust me, my idea is sound... Buckley is finished. The best thing the club can do is acknowledge that, finish his contract immediately and pay him out... I mean really he should be walking voluntarily if he really was thinking about the clubs best interests.. its way beyond his tenure now and everyone can see that. The club needs fresh air immediately, our win/loss ratio for the rest of the season is actually irrelevant - what's important now is sowing the seeds for future success and that starts with a change. Read my last post as to what we should be actually doing (as I even type this).
