Simply gorgeous, current, moving and informative TV series on the ABC (apart from SBS where else would you find such gems). Just marvellous.

Last series I watched on the ABC was Sweet and Sour.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Wakefield on the ABC.

Quality ABC drama. Set in the Blue Mountains: a mental health facility. Wow, current and it’s pretty damn good.

Wow, it’s such a great show. Tissues for joy and sadness. It’s a beauty. Tonight’s episode is a ripper ( as they all are)

Wow, just finished Wakefield. Brilliant Australian series. Australian drama at it’s best. This is a fine production, great writing, fantastic acting. Wow,

7 episodes, each about 50 mins or so.

Damn good, don’t know how I’d cope with another series but yeah I’m still gobsmacked by how good it was.

Interesting review.

President Rock in 2032?
I suspect Young Rock may be guilty of breaching political advertising rules. But if so, it’s hardly hiding the fact.

This 11-part comic-biopic-pastiche (of which the first six have been made available for preview) draws from real incidents in the life of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, but starts from a fictional premise: it’s a decade or so from now and he’s running for president in 2032.
Filmed largely in Australia during Covid apparently. This line is good.
In a country that has made a B-actor (Ronald Reagan) and a reality TV star (Donald Trump) president, there’s no reason to think Johnson couldn’t end up in the White House. He’d certainly be better than either of those two, though what would we call him? President Rock?
From the man himself, if you can smell what he's cooking.

^In the latest episode of Legends of Tomorrow, they time travel to the year 2045 and the current US president is Dwayne (The Rock) Johnston.
