It's not even a lockdown, not by Victorian standards. It's a measured nuanced approach asking adults to act responsibly.

The comparison between NSW and Victorian responses is stark, as is the results so far. This latest outbreak will be telling.
Problem lot of People don't do what they are Told.

Like the QR Codes. I sign in but barley anyone else does.

NSW treats people like adults, Victoria treats them like children.

It could, but it hasn't so far. Lets see how it plays out and judge in hindsight.

Health experts calling for restrictions, Gladys so far calling for people to act responsibly and exercise self restraint rather than being forcibly restrained.

This should make for an interesting comparison. Victoria went into lockdown over the milder Indian strain and it wasn't so much the number of cases but the number of potential exposure sites and the geographic spread of them.

I'll follow this with interest.
Experts repeating the same opinions they had over the Christmas outbreak, that if they didn’t act swiftly and follow Victoria’s lead they’ll end up with an out of control outbreak.

We’ll see which experts are right, the NSW government with their great track record or the media experts with a very poor track record.

Won’t be anyone allowed in Melbourne next weekend either with this government!

Their local footy rules today were possibly one of their dumbest decisions to date and there is plenty of competition! Not that you can actually stop people going to a local park…

But I imagine these sport hating morons wouldn’t have even been aware that local footy is played at local parks!!!

Well if they stopped scaring people and changing the rules it would help. I’m still mighty pissed that 3 weeks ago I got the jab I didn’t want and now they tell me I shouldn’t have! And then they waste 13 doses of Pfizer! I would have driven wherever to have it! And now I gotta suck it and have AZ again! Yes I only got crook for a day but still, I don’t need the stress of worrying about whether I fell up the stairs due to vertigo or the fricken needle!

As much as I would love China to tell the damn truth c’mon Aussie, you bought too many and don’t want to waste them, apparently the mighty dollar is worth more than peoples lives! I am in no was Antivax but I would have appreciated choice.

You will probably have to be vaccinated again later on if you want to travel to the USA or to Japan or to attend events there as they don’t consider AZ to be a vaccine.

We'll all have to be vaccinated again, and again, and again regardless of what vaccine we had.

None of them claim to work forever, we'll need at least annual boosters
