England have banned elephants even in zoos. Well done. It’s too damn cold for them and they are not on earth for our entertainment

Youngest shifted out with her BF last weekend. Mrs WPT & I are empty nesters again.

Oldest came down from Sidanee on Friday to announce Mrs WPT & I are going to be Grandparents

Congrats Saba.

Sort of funny that your first grandchild will be a NSW citizen. :P

Congrats, WPT! That’s wonderful news.

Tbe elephant sanctuary near me has been shut due to Covid and the handlers have taken the animals hundreds of miles back to the villages because there are no tourists to feed them.

Cheers everyone. Not sure what the gender is gunna be. We suggested to leave it a surprise and so far that’s what she’s doing. Over the moon for her. She’s going to take 12 months off. Her BF is a sparky and a chippie is going to be a train driver so he can work in Melb too. While they love Sidanee he is from Bondi they just can’t afford to buy there. But who knows. Gunna get a Pies membership ready although ATM that might be a child protection notification

Drove to Toc this morning, been waiting for a while. Garden is good, lot of rain last night it seems but all good inside.

Local supermarket has the Services NSW QR code at the entrance but apart from that, same as last time. No restrictions and not a mask in sight.

Town is surprisingly busy but I've been too busy working to try to figure out why. Can't be too many terrorists up here, I'm getting 40mbps using my phone as a hot spot. In summer I'm lucky to get 5mbps

After struggling to work on the PC in the cold inside, got moving today.

Lawns all whippersnipped and mowed, put up a shelf in the loungeroom behind the TV and put the Turntable I bought up the along with some vinyl records.

JB at knifeland has a great selection of Vinyl. I got 2 all time classic albums, Bat out of hell and Goodbye yellow brick road. With the turntable connected to the old Yamaha amp, fkn brilliant.

Had the Pies game on the radio while I was working, since then been kicking back with a glass of red, reading Hoges autobiography and listening to the records.

Nice day. Walk and weights in the morning, over to Greensie for brunch, haircut and a new shirt that fits.

Finally got around to having a go at the handbasin in my bathroom. Pop up plug has been stuck down for 2 weeks. Tried everything to get it back, no dice. I refuse to call a plumber for something like this, so this arvo I pulled finger. Emptied the cupboard beneath the sink and put a bucket in there underneath. Undid the poly pipe connections to the plug fitting, poked a screwdriver up the pipe to the underside of the plug, and gave it a whack. Bingo.

Unscrewed the cap, gave it a clean, made sure it now worked properly and put it all back together. No leaks. :D

Capped off a good day. 8)

Headed north into NSW for a bit then on the way back was cruising on the highway when a car coming the other way flashed me, so I slowed down expecting cops or camera car up ahead, so I waved thank you and as they passed I realised they were the cops!!! Seems they decided it'd make more sense to flash me to slow down than pull me over, nice cops!

Probably lucky they couldn't see me 30 seconds earlier when I overtook someone...
