What do regular VFL watchers think of…………..

Bendigo product Lachie Tardrew? I’m biased because of my local knowledge that tells me he will be a brilliant player of the future. I note that he is leading the VFL team this week. What do Nicksters think? BTW, he is also a terrific person.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

He is a solid VFL player, nothing more.

What am I to say? He's our VFL captain. He has neat skills, is not quite big enough or fast enough to play AFL but has an admirable work-rate. He isn't a "gun" and it's hard to see any reason to describe him as "a brilliant player of the future".

He's been playing for the 'pies in the VFL since 2016, so he's, presumably, about 25 already. He joined us at the same time Marty Hore did, IIRC.

On another note, I’m baffled why Madgen gets a go ahead of Wilson.
Not that Wilson is a star but he’s disposal is much better/cleaner than Madgen’s and seems to find plenty of the ball (in the VFL) every week.
Any thoughts??
