I don't think it was a momentum killer though. We got the next two goals after that and Maynard's tackle set up one of those goals.

Lynch and Grundy won’t work, neither would of witts and Grundy. Grundy because of he’s contract will probably always be first pick.

Well i guess the silver lining is that not necessarily will he be the first pick. If Lynch sustains excellent form in the VFL, and Grundy is lacklustre in the seniors, then maybe you select Lynch instead. In other words, you fire a shot across the bows. Open up a free competition between Lynch and Grundy, regardless of contract value.
