And 3 cases, I assume part of that 16 are in an aged care facility. All 3 are fully vaccinated but as a safety measure the joint has been locked down.

The 3 of them were fully vaccinated and had no symptoms from what I've read. See what happens.

And Australia DTM: remember Scotty’s “It’s not a race” let alone not having Aged Care Facilities and their staff fully vaccinated not to mention the Disability Sector.

35 new cases in NSW. 33 of these linked to exiting cases, 20 are household contacts.

58,000 tests.

Of the 35 cases announced, 33 are linked to a known case or cluster, 20 are household contacts and 24 have been in isolation during their infectious period, Dr Kerry Chant said.

Only seven of the 35 cases have been infectious while in the community, including the two at SummitCare aged home.

There are now five infected residents at the facility which comes after two nurses worked while infectious. (one of the two new ones is not vaccinated)

Five cases are linked to the Virgin flight VA524 on June 26, bringing the total number of cases associated with the flight to nine. They include eight passengers and one household contact.

Two cases are linked to the birthday party at West Hoxton, bringing the total number of cases to 45.

A student at Rose Bay Public School has also tested positive to the virus. The student is a close contact of a previous case.

Changed our flights to Canberra to this weekend instead, wish us luck! Just hoping we manage to return unscathed without any enforced two-week quarantines...
