Didak is still very very inconsistent

it is way way too early to compare him to a champion like Daicos..

some games Didak hardly gets a kick

and he can be very very soft.

There is no point in making the top 8 and finishing eighth..

you get to play Brissy up there in the first week of the finals....(a loss)

and you miss out on any good draft picks

Not neccesarily, The Last 3 Years the top ladder position after 22 rounds belonged to Essendon (2001) Port (2002) and guess who ... port again in 2003.

Imagine that.
Port away in the first week of the finals. I'm liking those odds

I hope Didak can take this new form and repeat it tho...It was good to see him get back to his old self.
Tradition? Pfft you call merging with Fitzroy and cheatin to 3 flags Tradition? Winning 4 flags in a row is history, which makes tradition!

Didak has the potential to be a fantastic player , he still is very young and I have high hopes for him. Lets face it we are in alot of trouble and the next 3 weeks are crucial. If we could get 2 wins from the next 3 id be suprised but anything can happen. WOuldnt it be good to knock off the cocky sainters , especially if they happend to be undefeated still.
do anything at any cost to win the match

That goal. I was initally shocked and then went berzerk in the loungeroom. Now i am back to shocked. How calm was he. Like nailing those couple of crucial goals in last years QF. When Did's goes up a notch, he, like hird, leaves the mere mortals behind. Hird can do it for 3 quarters. Did's can do it a couple of times a game for 5 minutes apiece. Man as he gets older - let's face it Hird has been a better player the last 4 years than when he won the brownlow in 93 - Dids i feel is going to be THE man. I mean THE man. He will rank in Sheehans 50 at #1. And we are going to have him.
Get back on top.

The goal sent shivers up my spine as did the mark. But that intercept and goal was the play of the day. When Daks turns it on, we turn it on.
