In NSW, 1 death (an "older person"). 77 cases of community transmission. 33 (Gladys' words - but, once again, not consistent with the published figures) "have been exposed in the community while infectious". From the NSW Department's figures:

- the source of infection for 22 cases remains under investigation.

- 32 cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period and nine cases were in isolation for part of their infectious period.

Gladys says she is expecting over 100 new cases tomorrow.

Berejiklians right Royal stuff up. She had a choice: lockdown hard early or not. She chose not. She allowed this virus in NSW to spread despite the evidence and advice to lock down early. This was a political decision not a decision based on people’s health.

Morrison had a choice and could have chosen to diversify his options. He banked on a single option (AZ) and despite saying we’re not in a race (fool) there were some factors out of his control.

Add to this the appalling and confusing messaging from the mostly absent Scotty from Marketing (Jen has more leadership qualities than he’s displayed so far) then this has got to the Western Suburbs of Sidanee where compliance is a huge issue let alone the casualized workforce, higher density living and lack of health literacy.

This is compounded by Berejiklians half arsed lockdown and Scotty’s failure of leadership in failing to have procured more injections.

The gold standard indeed.

Utter clusterf*ck

No good numbers at all, sad to see the first death this year and also sad to see people become little more than a self caricature.

Easy to cast blame in hindsight, NSW has successfully chased down every Covid outbreak without needing to lockdown. This time they failed and despite the blatant cheerleading and false facts, that hardly makes them incompetent.

There's be the inevitable daily increase in numbers until all the family contacts have been infected. The important thing now is to stop people going out.

Why does it feel like a particular poster here is revelling in NSW’s misery.

It’s pathetic.

When you make the same point multiple times and get proven wrong multiple times, they'll make the most of being right once...

Much like all these 'experts' people keep quoting, the 'experts' have said the same thing every single time there is a case, fact is it is not always necessary.

But it's an interesting choice people have, would they have preferred to have been thrown into a stage 4 lockdown statewide every single time there was a case over the last 14 months, or be enduring this extended stage 3 lockdown in Sydney only that they are now?

Rubbish. I’m not revelling in the misery of NSW. I’m pointing out the obvious which a few knuckleheads here seem to want to deny:

Gladys and Scotty f*cked up big time and they reap what they have sewn. Pointing out Berejiklians balls up doesn’t mean I’m revelling in non politicians misery.

Your wilful misinterpretation does not reflect on me.

FFS on a personal note I’ve got a daughter who is in lockdown now in Coogee because of Gladys and Scotty’s clusterf*ck.

If you can’t see the difference then you have an issue.

I would like to congratulate the Right Honourable twice elected btw, Premier of Victoria for being the only place in the world to have successfully dealt with and eradicated the Delta Strain of the CornaVirus.

Well done to him and the team of medical, and other supporting players. Well done.
