not so much scared of lockdown, just damn sick of it!stui magpie wrote:I'm curious, what are people most concerned about with this new outbreak in Vic?

Having another 4 month lockdown, continued restrictions our day to day life?
My impression is most people are more scared of another long lockdown than dying of Covid

surely lessons have been learnt, this should not have happened, thanks to some selfish bastards with a red permit doing the wrong this, we are at risk of lockdown and big numbers again. 1 week after surgery im thanking my lucky stars, surgery was already delayed a month once, and for the first time in a year I can brush my teeth without feeling like a 2 year old, and i have enough strength in my hand to lift a full cup without pain! i cant imagine if i was on the list for a more urgent type of elective surgery, or in the public system waiting for surgery. I dont want to get sick, sick with something that may leave lasting problems, more importantly I dont want that to happen to my kids, and especially juniors friend who just finished 6 rounds of chemo, and will still have to have a lung removed, the last thing she needs is some weird respiratory disease, quite frankly it would probably kill her.
im excited to have seats behind the cheer sqaud this week, im hoping to be able to use my camera, in saying that i really dont care if they say no crowds, if we get more numbers in the coming days, lock down non essentials. i wont go into to politics but NSW left it too late, and as much as we should have reduced incoming flights earlier, the borders should have slammed shut. i mean really, were the movers an essential service when the move was from a red zone? i really dont think so.
