I would have thought you’d take VicPols POV that it was a complete waste of time and resources over Dans love affair with it.think positive wrote:ring. of. steel.David wrote:Seems like it’s getting worse up there, not better.
It’s Dans bullshit about ring of marshmallows that has all of regional Victoria locked up so Dan avoids looking like an idiot because VicPol won’t do it again.

Didnt work here and wouldn't work there. For 1 thing Sydney's geography is very different. The cases aer still growing not because the restrictions are too soft, it's because people aren't following the rules.think positive wrote:ring. of. steel.David wrote:Seems like it’s getting worse up there, not better.
The numbers are creeping up rather than exploding like they did in Victoria's second wave, but if they don't plateau then start going down soon it may be only a matter of time.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
^ The highest 7-day number in Victoria was 3,731 recorded for the 7 days to 5 August 2020. Even then, that number included a one-off "catch up" number of 700 cases added on one day to correct earlier under-reporting over a period of weeks. Today, NSW is on 1,651 community cases recorded in the past 7 days - and there's no under-reporting catch-up in that.
Victoria first recorded 200 or more cases on 10 July 2020 - but it wasn't until 25 July 2020 that Victoria recorded its first run of 7 days in a row of at least 200 cases, as NSW has just done. New cases then remained consistently above 200 per day until 20 August, then started to reduce and only barely reached 200 or more on one more day (202 on 23 August 2020). Indeed, even at the height of the June-September wave in Victoria, the 7-day rolling average of new cases never reached 500 new cases per day.

I would Highly Doubt it as it would go against the Country's Targets for living with CovidWhat'sinaname wrote:Maybe, but at least she has a vaccination target. I worry that even at 90% vaccination, Victoria will still lockdown to protect the remaining 10%.Dave The Man wrote:Thanks to Glady and NSW Cases Keeping going up then the whole Country be on Edge and just stayed keep going into and out of Lockdowns

Since when has Victoria followed the rest of the country?
Dan always goes it alone and it usually backfires.
20% unvaccinated is still 1.2 million+ people, an outbreak in Victoria would absolutely decimate hospitals and we're supposed to believe this government that believes in zero as the only answer would just let it rip?

Nothing like what Glady has done in NSW and how she wanted to live with Covid has F**ked the Country up now as other states are going into Lockdown from NSW Leaks
So you just let it up the Public to do the Right Thing and IF there is a Big Outbreak then people just have to Look after themselves?

We don't know why Victoria is in lockdown, Victoria's 2,500 contact tracers can't find the link and it seems genomic testing which has been done, also can't link them, which might lead some to question if this is actually yet another Victorian HQ leak...Dave The Man wrote:Since the Big Lockdown I don't think it has Really Backfired.eddiesmith wrote:Since when has Victoria followed the rest of the country?

The QLD lockdown is due to multiple QLD quarantine leaks, yet again.
Gladys still is a long way behind Victoria, so don't go ripping too hard too early.
As for Victoria not doing their own thing, they are still the only state who relies on statewide lockdowns, no one else does. Every other state locks down areas that are actually affected, not people 500+km away from any cases.

Locking down just localities is fineif everyone does the right thing, but there are far too many selfish **** outthere.
I agree Dave.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
