What a huge relief for JDG! Great news for him and the footy team.
Hope he can play the last two games as if all the shackles have been released. :)

Hes also facing charges for wearing the Collingwood Logo out in public.
Vic Police have identified the logo as being gang related.
He will face court whenever Victoria police feel its the most inappropriate for their personal gain

Is he going to get an apology from all the gutless journalists who wanted him sacked last year over the assault charges? So much for innocent until proven guilty.

And how does the fabulous Jaqui Felgate report the news?

"Collingwood Star faces court..."

"Jordan Degoey was accused of... against a girl..."

"Jordan Degoey was charged..."

Then finally... "charges dropped", "He's relieved", end story.

This was just now on the 4 O'Clock news.... Fk off channel 7...

If it was a Cats player it would be completely different...

"Cats star falsely accused.."

Then you go to sport and its about Dangerfield and how he's A-ok.

At last some good news for Collingwood,This should come as an enormous relief to DeGoey and the club. The fact that the judge awarded costs against the prosecution suggests that they had a weak case all along,or that they botched the investigation.Either way it’s hugely embarrassing for them.

Disgraceful showing by the Vic Police, did they have a case or not? Bloody character assassination

So now we've been $@&^# over it's safe to let him off?

The fact the taxpayers are now having to foot his legal bills suggest the case was bullshit in the first place and the police who initially chose not to pursue charges were a lot smarter than these dunces.
