The committee and supporters invite you to attend the launch of the newest BARFL team, the Putney Magpies. Sponsorship arrangements, coach, captain and team to be introduced. This will also be a media night and prizes to be won. Be there!!!!!

The season kicks off with the Pre Season cup on the 24th of April and then starts proper on the 1st of May running through till the grand final on the 22nd of August.

Just thought I'd post a quick note from the northern wastelands on behalf of the North Western Miners ARFC, to wish the Putney Magpies the best of luck in their inaugural season in BARFL.

Hopefully our paths will cross at some stage. (If we ever get a fixture list for the Regional League, we may be able to invite you up to compete in the Northern Cup.)

Anyway, All the best for the season.

The reason we use the Litten Tree is that they sponsor our Aussie Rules team thus we get cheap drinks and exclusive use of one of the bars when we need it. And its a great pub with a great atmosphere.
