Apparently the Saints are interested in Cox.

When the initial list of coaching candidates was presented to Nicksters for voting, I did not like any of the candidates.
At the time I said we (the panel) should look for someone else not on the list.

Well, my wish came true in Craig McRae. Especially when everybody here likes the choice.
I also like the idea of Justin Leppitsch coming to Collingwood, even though his coaching career so far is not standout.
His value will be in teaming up once again with the head coach as he did before at Brisbane and Richmond.
Ash Johnson...you beauty

Just on Darcy Cameron, i cant see us keeping him, or Josh Thomas, WHE im not sure, same with Cox, guess its all list management. I think that Coleman jones would be much better than Cameron, who really has never impressed me all that much. The plot thickens.
Ant particular reason why/how Coleman Jones is gettable ?.

Cameron has been steady, and that's as good as it gets. I wouldn't say he's been bad, but when you're desperate he has looked good. Multiple goal kicker a few times. I wonder if more inside 50's would improve his output?. Same for Cox.

But yes, the plot thickens.. Do we persevere or open opportunity for the next gen.

Cameron is a fantastic mark and a pretty accurate kick for goal. How's some of the game saving marks he took late in games in defence. Covers the ground well. Considering the pittance he's likely on, I would say he's fantastic value for money right now. He's coming into his prime so he could get better. Yes, he thrived in a pretty awful forward line. Imagine if we got it in quicker. He only needs a few opportunities per game and he'll kick his 2-3.

Have we considered Jake Kelly as potential trade recruit? SEN reporting he still hasn't signed with the Cows and I believe is an unrestricted free agent. Not sure if he helps us out - guess it would all depend on what the price might be to get him and if we could afford him...
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

I did say a few weeks ago I had heard we were speaking to him and it was a real chance. I like the idea to potentially release Maynard into the middle.

Maynard is wasted in defence. If he moves into the midfield, suddenly we have good core in there (possibly with Lipinski too) and then Pendles can move into the forward line or half back.

I hope we have a look at Charlie Constable, he always impressed me. He looks balanced and pretty skilled. He would be hungry for games too.

Lapinski and Constable would be great
