All we know at this point of time is he fits our needs as an inside mid of the right age and size. As to why he can’t get a game at the Bulldogs in the middle the answer is obvious. Even Treloar can’t get a game in the middle at the Bulldogs. Some players are insiders, some are outsiders. There are inside players at every club who just aren’t suited to playing on the flanks. Lipinski stars at VFL level and the Bulldogs have offered him a contract to stay. Lipinski sees his opportunities as better suited at another club. No one is calling him a superstar but we have one coming in anyway in Nick Daicos. What we need is handy experience in the middle while MaCrae and Nick Daicos develop their game.

Definitely want either Lipinski or Constable, starting to think the latter is a better bet. Ranked 5th in the VFL overall with an average of 32 possessions a game and 7 clearances. At 22 years of age, he's a damn good age to develop even more and give us 10 years in the guts.

Absolutely. Tigers are right into him. Best mate is Shai Bolton and he’s been part of the hard sell. Watch this space.
Interesting times at Geelong. Constable, Clarke and Narkle all looking for senior chances and are out of contract. Expect a couple of the above to find new homes.

Id take Constable over Narkle. Dont rate Narkle. Goes missing in the big games when he has had a chance.

Phuck Narkle isn’t too bad of a player.

In the same bracket as Lipinski.

Maybe he's unhappy that their 10th best mid is being paid $900,000 a year (admittedly not all by Footscray)?
We may disagree about Grundy.
But I won't disagree with you about Treloar

Not sure if he helps us out - guess it would all depend on what the price might be to get him and if we could afford him...

What a bloody disgrace we're letting this happen.

Funny thing is Essendon will now have two father-sons that we passed on. (Stewart the other one).

How the heck can the Bluescum afford to land this Cenna, ?? their salary cap must be absolutely bursting, exploding, or is it once again, the old Price Fixer Park, brown paper bags, are the Underbelly crew financing this one ??

Actually I don't mind that he's going off to Essendon. I've not been convinced that he suits our needs. The mantra from Craig McRae is that we want to get better as fast as we can. The better of the brothers is Will Kelly. That's who our energies should be focused on.

I need someone to explain what weve “ missed out “ on, other than 189cm back pocket. I don’t see why his brother or Ruscoe couldn’t pass him by within 12 months.

Very sus Piesnchess, very sus indeed. I smell funny business as I don’t trust either Carlscum or the bloody AFL.

You and me both, I suspect if his name wasn't Kelly, no one would be interested.
I was very impressed with the improvement of Ruscoe this year, I'd thought him unlikely to make the grade, but he's making me change my mind

We did already overlook him under Father/Son (although I dont recall the specific details)

You may be right that he doesnt suit our needs, but I dont know how you can say that the better of the brothers is Will who has played 3 games in 4 seasons... What is correct, however, is that Will is the one on our list and therefore obviously shold be the focus of the club's efforts. I hope he can get a run at it through injury luck and new coaching in 2022.
