I’ve long heard the same about both of them and Leppa’s work with ( oppo ) defensive strategies and developing defenders is second to none.
The key to these appointments is that McRae knows exactly what he’s getting, having worked with both. You need complete trust within your footy dept or it all goes to sh1t very quickly. You don’t want yes men and you don’t have to agree on everything but you have to respect the people you work with.
Wrighty got his man and McRae got his team.

Yeah I get that, hence why I wrote “probably not in the planning and great administration areas”. However in sports many flukes have taken place. In cricket I have taken a few catches that were total flukes, and as the worst ever bowler in the history of the club, I have fluked about 5 or 6 wicketsBazBoy wrote:I think he meant things you planned to do was not a fluke
Always going to be a ball bounce wrong or a player turn wrong way to give an opening
He meant don’t rely on fluke rely on yourself. Gee that what I see
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
Yes Lazza the are all manner of anomalies in AFL (and sports in general)
A prime example of a fluke that involved a goal that won a GG was when Harmes went over boundary then tapped to Keogh for a goal
No fluke if Collingwood player pulled up thinking umpire would call it out of bounds. But had he kept going and tackled Harmes it becomes a throw in and reset

Pretty sure that's not correct.90 nice wrote:News around that Daisy Pearce might be joining Collingwood part of coaching panel she is a great player in the aflw she played for the dees.
Whoever is spreading that has probably misheard Leppa on the radio the other day. He said that he would love for her to come across to the Pies one day in a coaching position.
There was never a comment on it happening now.
