It will gradually become mandatory in more workplaces and professions to have a COVID vaccination. Was reading an article today that an increasing number of employers are including COVID vaccination as a prerequisite in job ads.

Red headed chick got a booking for Pfizer on the 25th Sept.
Booked in at Barwon Health, the old Ford Factory site which is easier for her as she is living on campus at Deakin Waurn Ponds.

She was happy to travel to Melbourne but nothing was available anyway until this booking came up.

All the DB household will be fully vaxxed by mid November.

Surely the government should be leading by example before they start pushing vaccination requirements on other industries?

Even Emergency service workers aren't required to be vaccinated, let alone any other public service.

I have no problem with mandatory vaccinations for some jobs, my concern is if enough truck drivers crack the sads we'll have potential for food shortages.

Got my first one this morning. No adverse impacts as of yet, but if I start making incomprehensible moderating decisions in the coming days you'll know something has gone badly wrong.

Talking to the red headed chick last night, she said there were plenty of times available on the 25th at the Barwon Health vaccine hub.
25th being GF day, Geelong people were probably keeping that day free

Different reports. Talking to a bloke from Ballarat this morning, he went to a state hub and got his first shot of Pfizer this morning. Long queues for Pfizer, no one getting AZ.

Had a delivery just before, new car, talking to the delivery bloke he's been hesitant but got his first shot (AZ - he's 60+) just last week. Said it was bloody lucky timing cos as of this week the boss has decided that unvaccinated staff aren't allowed on site.

Not my car, daughters partner. They were both working today, 10 hour shifts, so had it delivered here and they'll come get it.

Not bad thing, Mazda cx30 , not my style though.

And the piano is mine, the one I learned on as a kid. Steel framed upright. I had it bought down from Toc after Dad died and mum moved house.
