which of the 2 ruckman would be better 4 the pies, everitt or mckernon,i think mckernon cos he has had more finals experience plus playing in 2 winning grandfinals, which could be very helpful and bennificial 4 the young guys coming through, who agrees with me there??
On form from this year alone I would have to say that I would prefer Everitt over McKernon. Also from looking at this years form i think Everitt has more seasons left than Mc. Major problem with Everitt is that he lacks heart and passion. Can he be taught this at Collingwood???? a question for the ages.
Personally I would rather see Porter in the black and white.
Go Hard.... GO PIES!

I also heard Porter being thrown around as a possible? Ah Mag Rob says this too, I'd agree with him. All these trade rumours are so frustrating though. I doubt we'd go for a McKernan of Everitt, it just doesn't fit the philosophy of the last couple of years or so. I'll be happy if we don't. I love watching the young kids grow and turn into good players.

What about Stafford?
I don't think McKernan cause he's too old and injury prone - not many seasons left - and Everit will come at a high price. So waht about Stafford? He's a decent ruck, can go forwards and kick goals, and can come off the bench when Josh is dominating and Tarrant is killing them in an open forward line. And he'll be cheap - in a year with many many ruck men, the experienced but hardy Stafford may go for a promising young guy and a draft pick. You'd need to give more for Everit or McKErnan, or Porter.

Against my better judgement, I would have to say Spider...Corey was an absoloute gun a few years back (and a mad collingwood supporter too!) but he is way to injury prone and nowhere near the damaging player that he once was. I am not a big fan of Spider either, and I know he hasn't had much finals experience, but let's be honest, has anyone in our own side? Spider very often gets first use of the ball at hitouts and he's also a goal kicker, and with the quality of players he'll have along side him to tap the ball to, could be a beautiful thing!

I wouldn't mind either of them...but if I had to choose, I would go for Spider. He would be a changed man under Malty.

yeah that dumbarse knee high fence, how stupid is that like if the players run into it they cant put their hands out to slow em down, i wonder if the AFL is going to do something about that cos as we saw with mckernan it couses injuries and im sure if it had have been buckley there would have been such the biggest uproar.
