Must get Stengle. If it doesn’t work out, so be it.

A haul of:

Nick Daicos
Lipinski
Kreuger
Johnson
Begg
Stengle

over the past 6 months would be a decent addition to the squad. At least 4 walk-up starts, changes the mix and dynamic of our team instantly. Throw in some Reef McInnes, Will Kelly, more Ginnivan…the squad is already taking shape away from the 2017-2021 failed squad. Likely bottom 4 finish beckons, but the seeds are being sewn for the next phase of (hopefully) success.

We'll get Krueger and Lipinski via trade.

Assuming they get done without too many hassles, should we ask about any of the following players:

*Charlie Constable?
*Paul Seedsman?
*Rory Lobb?
*Jarrod Brander?
*Peter Ladhams?

Keen to hear what you guys think about those guys and if we should put an offer in for any of them. I know we have lack of picks to trade and cap space to consider; I'm just asking.

Mitch Wallis is the only Free Agent I can see that can offer something. Naish and Dunstan could be DFA additions? The question would be the coin they're offered elsewhere and if they fit into out cap.

Will small forward Tyson Stengle be available in the rookie draft? We have pick 2. Should we pounce before? PSD? DFA signing?

I would certainly throw Trent Dumont into the mix as an R F A.
Very tough, decent skills and good age demographic. Been part of Kangas leadership team. A lot of Kangas supporters think he’s gone and they aren’t happy about it. Just not sure we have enough to offer another quality player unless we do some serious list pruning of our own.

Yes- would be happy with either Dumont (to be a tough inside mid to replace Greenwood) Dumont is 186cms and 86kgs...and is 26 years old.. Dumon has kicked 26 goals in 113 games.

I do like Wallis because he actually is a goal-kicker. 105 goals in 157 games.

Would not be opposed to appointing Hamish Hartlett as a development coach and possibly rookie him to keep the first $95,000 of his salary out of the soft-cap..Would be awesome to have him mentoring the young guys in the VFL.

Yep, this. I think we'll carry at least 1 list spot into the pre-season supplemental and/or mid-season drafts. These are the types of players we need to be considering.
