Maybe for picks:
Sidy
Maynard
JDG
Ok with most of that except for JDG and Maynard.
Never give away your spiritual leader which I believe is Maynard and JDG is just about to hit top gear.
Hopefully a vice captaincy position for Maynard beckons

Best 22 in our current squad was 17th on the ladder unfortunately.
The sad thing is we do have a lot worse, but I can't see how any other side would have him in their best 22.

That is the issue

Surely you jest. This is right up the pussies alley. A smart goalkicker who can go through the midfield if needed. Much better option than Dollhouse.

to say 'we can't carry him anymore'

It's not like he is paying people to give him a game.

As I understand it, he is the best person at our disposal at the time of selection.

And I believe he has had a contract extension.

I reckon his old man will give him a game at North
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

Tarrant's already gone - somewhere else, can't recall where. He was an unrestricted free agent, so it was entirely his call.

Update - here's North's confirmation: https://www.nmfc.com.au/news/1018025/ta ... den-street

When you cut the cloth for a rebuild, it's pointless persevering with players that display week in week out flaws:

* Noble: plays like a crab, left right left right vs direct and disposes the ball with hits and misses regularly

* Madgen: can't win a one on one inside 50 to save himself whilst lacking general skill and game sense

* Cox: averages 1 goal a game, lost his ruck craft and cannot impose himself when the ball hits the floor

* Thomas: zero impact in last 40 matches

* Sier: built like Tarzan plays like ...... well you know what I mean

Rather finish bottom of the ladder next year investing in young players with upside vs "frustration merchants".

^ Noble had a shocker against the Hawks and deserved to be dropped.
But it was a long brutal season for our backs, and for a light guy he generally puts in and has efficient disposal.

He’s also cheap.

Until we have more options consistently pushing for seniors, he deserves a spot on the list.

Heard that for years about Jamie Turner, Mick Gayfer, James Manson and Tony Shaw, you need your grunts

And Nick Maxwell was maligned right up until the day he single handedly saved the premiership
