Just like that we are starting to top back up next years draft. And we are clearly not done.

Blokes like King/Montagna should have to respond now to their click bait commentary. They are supposed to be industry experts and they are either morons or deliberately mislead.
As you said, we are clearly not done. I don’t see # 27 being part of any Daicos bidding.
So we now have our first rounder, Dockers third rounder ( not yet official ) and GCS fourth rounder in the 2022 draft and all likely lowly finishes on the ladder.
We also will have #27 in this draft ( not yet official ) and that would give us the currency to swap for a future second rounder if we go that way.
So there’s your full draft hand for 2022 back intact if that’s what we’ve set out to achieve.

As an aside, I thought Dixon, Johnson and Dalsanto were very good on Fox last night. It always helps when people understand they aren’t bigger than the show itself

However hypothetically BK, if he played about 3 or 4 consecutive blinders, would you at least think about it? I would love his pace.
If we were in a position to compete for finals, then sure, top up with a low risk rookie spot for him. He certainly has value in that respect as a depth player for a premiership contender.

As it stands, we're developing young players for our next tilt at the flag. Jetta has been brought in to help player development. If he were to play seniors, it would (in my view) be counterintuitive to that role. i.e. I'd rather see a spot given to a younger player pushing for selection and experience to aid in their development than the development coach rob them of that opportunity.

This is in no way a criticism of Jetta as player, more just that I don't think that is what we really need right now.

A good trade if Freo remain a mid-table side in 2022. A finish outside the 8 means that 3rd round pick is worth between 331 (9th) - 483 (18th) points and we only drop about 140 sliding from pick 22 to 27.

I would look at that absolutely.
Probably need a later pick thrown in just because Lynch has 5 years of development and at least some games.
