^ not sure Id say Elliot is one paced and both he and McCreery have Hill covered in forward 50 pressure acts and Tackles.

Pies seemed to have wanted him, Im not sure its a big loss though.
We do need role players around that $250-$300k mark but I agree ya cant have too many.

My hopes for Lipinski is that game consistency improves is confidence and contribution. Best case we end up with another Crisp. He has all the tools including tank and workrate.

Bobby Hill didn’t get to arssendon so he could be closer to family in WA. He was never ever going to say yes to us, the indigenous group and history at Essendon was what he wanted join

I think we need to stop looking back with Stephenson.
His best in 2018 was better than anyone in his draft year.

Re-do that draft now and he probably wouldn't be top 10.

I would have:
1. Andrew Brayshaw (Fre) - pick 2
2. Tim Kelly (WCE) - pick 24
3. Aaron Naughton (WBD) - pick 9
4. Liam Ryan (WCE) - pick 26
5. Adam Cerra (Fre) - pick 5
6. Oscar Allan (WCE) - pick 21
7. Zac Bailey (Bris) - pick 15
8. Bailey Fritsch (Melb) - pick 31
9. Cam Rayner (Bris) - pick 1
10. Brandon Starcevich (Bris) - pick 18

Can anyone remind me what our 2022 draft hand now looks like? From memory we have our first rounder still (phew), three third rounders we got from other clubs, as well as our fourth rounder? Is that right?

By my reckoning, we've got our 2022 1st round pick, Hawthorn and Brisbane's 3rd round picks. Then our 5th round pick.

Traded our 2022 2nd, 3rd and 4th to GCS.

Somehow we should try to get back a 2nd round pick for 2022.

^^Agree. Pick 27 alone should be enough to get us there.

The question is should we be even more adventurous and throw pick 27 and 1 of our 2022 3rd round picks at another 2022 1st round pick. Say Brisbane's who need to trade it or lose it to a bid.

AFL app ( who’s in, who’s out ) says we also have Freos future third rounder.
Lions, Hawks and Freo. Might need further clarification.

Traded as part of the Lynch deal I think.

IN: Hawks 3rd; Bears 3rd
OUT: Lynch; Freo 3rd; GCS 4th.

Ahh, yes, That was the Lynch trade according to the same app, so it might be they didn’t fine tune final update with the Lynch deal being so late.
So, two future third rounders, it is.

OK thanks. So next year:

-first (likely to be a top #5 pick)
-2 x third (one bris - so maybe #30 and one linked to hawks so maybe #20-22) - a fifth rounder.

And still pick #27 this year to do something useful with...
