get ahead of it guys, go to the app store and check if your vic services app is up to date, and download that certificate! if you update it it talks you through it!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
One of the people I emailed just replied, he hasn't been able to get vaccinated as he's been in isolation, tested positive on the day 13 test today and is in hospital now.
Time for a serious drink.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Even better we're transferring the phones to another office tomorrow so any issues and I won't know

Reported yesterday: 2,179 new local cases and 0 cases acquired overseas.
- 38,752 vaccines administered
- 73,942 test results received
- Sadly, 6 people with COVID-19 have died
and in NSW:
- 1 new overseas acquired cases
- 400 new total cases
- 677 people in hospital
- 145 people in ICU
- 4 deaths
So far, the hospitalisation pattern in Victoria is quite different from that in NSW. NSW broke the 1,000 new cases per day mark for the first time on 26 August 2021, by the following day had 761 patients hospitalised with COVID and from 4 September until 2 October reported at least 1,000 patients in hospital. Victoria's hospitalisations are increasing gradually (706 yesterday) but Victoria has been well over 1,000 new cases per day since 30 September. It looks as if the relative delay in case increases in Victoria has enabled vaccination to kick in (bearing in mind that it takes around 2 weeks after a first or second dose for the benefits of the vaccination to take effect) sufficiently to lead to lower hospitalisation outcomes. I only say "looks as if", at this stage - we will know much better in a week, once the people who have caught COVID over the last couple of days of very high new cases have progressed further through the course of their disease.
I think it's absolutely fair to say we can see the impact of the vaccinations.
For an extra data set, throw in Victoria's 2nd wave from last year when no one was vaccinated. Victoria now is at a higher vaccination rate than NSW was at the same stage, but NSW is now at a high rate of vaccination and case numbers are going down.

Bet his phone is turned off and landline off the hook because his fellow workers will be abusing bejeezus out of him if not their families who because of his thoughtlessness they have to isolate.
If you put fellow workers at risk in other industries you can be sacked.
When I was working in Vic Barracks we were in a small building, They offered everyone free flu shots and the military were ordered to have them. Line up, get jabbed and a free lollipop. 2 clowns in our office refused , both senior members.. They both got the flu but insisted on coming to work anyway . I rang my GP who said I was still at risk because I have no spleen. I went to the Director and said if these 2 dickheads stay at work I will go home and will get my GP to give me a certificate. Another bloke rang the Union and they said we were within our rights to refuse to work in the same area. With that the Director ordered them home until he could find a suitable area where they could work without risking others and their families.
