Sad to see Marty Hore has been given the chop by the Dees. Never overly optimistic he'd make it as a senior footballer but was always hopeful for the best for him. Seems the ACL came at a really bad time for him. Sure there'll be some VFL sides seeking to sign him.

Could we then (for example) look to package up remaing trades this year, and potentially a couple of the inherited third rounders next year to a) get a better pick this draft or b) try and get back a second rounder next year?
If he goes 1 - all our picks are needed
if he goes 2 or 3 - all picks up to including 48 are needed. Interestingly our next pick 55 will more than likely move forward around 5-9ish depending when Darcy is called.

We may keep that for potential Dib bid if it comes between 20-40 which is not likely. Or use it on another kid Id say.

If he goes pick 4 then we do have some picks with currency so who knows.

Yeah I think we could do worse than get him for the VFL team, especially now that Lynch has gone and the other back up’s are inexperienced.

Waste of time, he won’t come to Collingwood. Rather chase someone else instead of a dumb brainwashed Collingwood hating moron.

Can someone explain what kind of player Dib is and why we would pick him? Small forward? Is he particularly good at that spot? Fast? Agile? Coz we have a few of them now.

Because he’s our NGA prospect so we can probably get him for pick 78 which has no points value

We could end the trade/draft period with: N Daicos, Lipinski Kreuger, Brander, Dib, Naish and a hidden gem in the PSD pick 2...

The worry is his height. However he is one of a few in Vic who played VFL footy. He played 4 games. He is very strong and tackling intensity / pressure is a real strength. He was seen as a pack pocket however this year spent some time forward and in the middle. He ticked a lot of boxes in every position he played.

For a free hit and a known personality you would think we would take advantage.
