It's amazing how many people get so absorbed in missing kid cases. It's not that I don't care, I just don't get wrapped up in them.
I do know that a number of ghouls and trolls attacked the parents online, which is sick.

I lost junior for about 45 sec at highpoint one day, she would have Been Cleos age. I’ll never forget how I felt. I don’t know about aussie Psyche, maybe I’ve watched too much SVU, maybe I just really can imagine what that mother went through, imagining if she never found out. Funny I went to ikea today and had the conversation with more than one stranger! We were all just so damn happy. Not many feel good stories these days. Dogs and kids I don’t Need to know them to be sentimental. That’s just me I guess. .

All good.
Little things today, walking around the Sunday market at Thomastown then onto Bunnings for some tap handles, tomato plants and a sausage in bread.
Then doubled down in the Arvo, back lawn to long and wet to mow so went to greensie plaza for a wander. Kmart was bedlam, but got a haircut, went down to the pub for a sneaky pot, then grabbed some cookware and came home.
Feels so good just being able to do that again.

Had a great long weekend away catching up with old friends and family, decided with a lot of staff taking last Monday and having a long weekend I'd take Friday this week instead and have my own!
I even got to head over the border free from Danistan as well and had great weather, interrupted only slightly by a heavy but short storm. Then back to high 20's and sunshine today!
Yet get back to Melbourne and its damn freezing!!!

Over the worst of the shingles, doctor said it was good that I got onto meds within 72 hours of the blisters appearing.
Still some residual nerve tingling on my face.
Unfortunately has impacted my hearing/left ear but hopefully this will settle down in a couple of weeks. Otherwise have to see an ENT specialist.
As the ads say, if you get any symptoms get to doctor quick.
Mine started with short, sharp nerve pain in a bottom tooth.
Didn’t have anything on my body, everything concentrated on left side of face.

In this shitty weather it takes a bit to be happy, but little things.
Got up early, did a near 6km walk and some light weights. The left rotator cuff really responding well.
Then went for a walk around the Kingsbury market for the first time in months. People split about 50-50 wearing masks or not. Got the weeks worth of fresh veges and a hydrangea for mum and an Iron Man facemask for the grandson for when he has to wear one.
Brunch was a fresh pastie and a chocolate milkshake.
Home with the groceries and the grandson arrived, 30 minutes early. First time my daughter has been early, ever.
Good 3 hours with him, took him out on his new scooter and played in the park.
Home and lunch, plate of kabana, cheese, salami, carrot sticks, crackers and dip and a warm Milo. Showed him how to make a sandwich with salami and crackers.
20 minutes with my mum, doing some reading while lunch settled then on the road again, on the scooter to a different park a few blocks away. Played there till the rain got too heavy and back home. Took his wet jumper off and put it in the dryer and gave him a Collingwood jacket to wear that's been in a drawer for 2 years waiting. He loved it. Wore it home with a big smile.
Another milo, a mini drumstick and a couple of biscuits then a lie down on the couch watching Paw Patrol until the girls arrived back.
So great to spend time with him. It's been a long 20 months and the girls are doing a great job with him
