Let’s not tarnish Cooper’s drafting and exciting future ahead by talking about mushroomhead (there was quiet talk at North about trading him this year, by the way).

“Always by heart I’m always going to be a Blues boy, but not for the time being.”

Gross.

Someone get this kid some media training. Possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard come out of the mouth of a Collingwood draftee.

Just Random Stuff :

Adelaide passed Murley and selected :

36 Jake Soligo 179cm 80kg D.O.B: 25-01-2003
44 Zac Taylor 180cm 74kg D.O.B: 31-01-2003
________________________________________________
Soligo IMPROVEMENTS: (from Rookieme)

+ Kick consistency
+ Hurt factor

________________________________________________
Taylor IMPROVEMENTS:

- Strength
- Inside game
________________________________________________

Murley IMPROVEMENTS:

- Size
- Strength
_______________________________________________

6 months younger and lighter than Adelaids pair, broke his collar bone in round 13.

Has Adelaide missed out on the next Kevin Bartlett ?

It's been a while since we have selected his type. Interesting one to watch. ___________________________________________

He is a very new magpie and hasn’t as yet got rid of the Carlscum filth in his body and mind that has been ingrained over many years of abuse. He will take a little time to shed that shit and become a proud magpie.

You would love him to pan out something like Liam Baker.
He’s got a few Baker qualities and traits but Baker is still shorter and was a rookie selection.
It looks like the tools are there and this where the development coaches come in and maximise a players full potential.

Yeiks.

Remember drafting a few Carlton supporters in the past and they said it was difficult at first. Just like Kouta was a Pie's supporter.

Agree Dave, of the bits I saw of the VFL today, he and Murphy suggested they will get a shot back in the seniors soon. In Murphy's case he probably needs a couple more VFL games.

Murley has a bit of X-factor that we sorely miss.
