Here's hoping 2022 is a vast improvement over the past 2 years. Yeah, Covid isn't going away, but hopefully in 2022 we'll have no more lockdown, border closures or other OTT restrictions, people can work and socoialise, kids can go to school and retail and hospitality stay open.
I'm optimistic, I'm even looking forward to going to the office, sometimes
I'll be spending New Year's eve at home in Toc, town is bursting at the seams with tourists and I CBF waiting an hour in a crowd for a feed I can cook myself, so quiet night here.
Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2022 is a vast improvement and your life has more of what you've been missing
Here's to 2022, Happy New Year

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Happy new year, all.
I'll be pleased in 2022 if I can finally enjoy the pub again, see a few more sights, watch the odd show or performance, and visit mum in Oz without risk of quarantine or lockdown. Offices, supermarkets and shopping malls can stay in the past where they belong, though.
I reckon one more very mild flare up of Covid after Omicron will have us giving normality a shot again. Hopefully, inflation also starts turning in the first half of the year, which aside from the obvious benefits will give politics a chance of being more moderate.

In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
