In honour of Chris Bailey who passed away yesterday: Stranded by The Saints.

One of the best bands to ever come out of Australia, and one of the best punk bands of all time.

Did I read Midnight Oil are on their last Aussie tour?

This was a massively underrated collaboration:

I hadn't thought of this song for years. Boy, what a precursor to Crowded House.

Crikey, speaking of which, what a live performance:

My fav was prob this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiqBlKnb91A

I do really like The Dropkick Murphies, Signed and Sealed in Blood album. My definite fave would be Rose tattoo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d8SzG4FPyM

Nice song, hadn't heard it before. This is better audio quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6EIN3EeE78

As an aside, preview of their new album featuring lyrics from Woody Guthrie.

Might have to get a copy. Signed and Sealed in Blood is my fav.

Yeah, I go through phases of Split Enz and Crowded House. Split Enz are much more fun. But they're two very different life eras, so it depends on the mood. Crowded House never fails to dial up the melancholy for me, that's for sure.

I always look up Dropkick Murphys around St. Pat's Day.

I do envy the generation before me who got to see bands like AC/DC with Bon Scott, Rose Tattoo and The Angels in their prime :x

Three Northeast US bands that make a great listen together are Blondie, Talking Heads and The Cars.
