Good on ya Obie!

Post by NICK THE PIE MAN »

It was great to see one of my favourite players Shane O'Bree poll 12 votes in the Brownlow. Scoring BOG performances in a number of games, and stealing votes from Bucks. Something which other players have found hard to do over the last few years.

He was coming 3rd in the brownlow count half way through. Then had a stiff second half of the season as we know, imagine if he can keep the momentum going next year for the 2nd half of the season also!

Good on ya O'Bree. The umpires couldn't miss you in the first part of the season.
Next year you will be even better.

Just dye your dreads purple next season Shane, and they will notice you even more....

Well done Shane, great first half of the season, let's see if you can keep it up in 2002.

Well done Bucks, you had a shit season (by his standards) but still polled 15, that just shows how good you are. You Champ.

yes, good on OB-Wan! if he had kept it up for the second half of the season, he would have gone close.

also, well done to josh and pebbles who managed to score a few best on grounds.

congrats to bucks who again led the votes for the club. he is an out and out champion and will be a favourite for yet another copeland.

finally, special mention to bucks' g'friend, tania. her "g-string" gown was clearly the standout on the night!! just goes to show that c'wood women do it better Image

well done Shane!!!!!.

But can anyone explain a few things.

1:How when we beat Freo in Freo, how does Bell get 3 votes, in a LOSING side.

2:Again, how when we beat the crows in Adelaide, 2 crow players get 1 and 2 votes.

3:Finally, when we beat the blues how come porter gets the 3 votes!!!!!!!.

It is pathetic but I was glad that Hird didn't get any votes against us in the 2nd game but hey I guess they gave him enough free kicks on game night, that they wouldn't want to show biased.

Brownlow was another boring night but it was great to see Akermanis win it. Was a great speech he did after it,just wished that damn annoying bruce m would just shut up. Hope this is a omen for the grand final and the lions win the flag.

GO LIONS!!!!!!!!!!! WIPE THE SMILE OF THOSE BANDWAGON DONS SUPPORTERS.

Wasn't it great to see those don supporters burn their scarfs while waiting in the ticket que.

Was Goldspink the umpire for our second game against Essendon? Mmmm, we should ask for a recount!
