Tom Scully looks like he's got potential as a KFF.
A co-ordinated 204cm prospect that possesses good hands, covers the ground well and, judging by the below numbers, certainly knows where the goals are.
From his first seven SANFL Under 18s games, Scully has kicked a whopping 37 goals while averaging 12.6 disposals and 3.9 contested marks. That goal tally has included three bags of seven majors against Central District, Woodville-West Torrens and North Adelaide respectively, as well as a six-goal haul against Sturt in Round 2.

Cannot see the mechanisms of getting him from our current position unless we lose from here on and have a very high draft pick. I just don’t think we are a bottom 4 side unless we tank. We are a mid ladder team (10 - 12).robevpau1 wrote:^
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
Tom Scully, initially I though you were taking the piss, suggesting the recently retired former No.1 draft pick who started at Melbourne (after they took him instead of choosing Dustin Martin) then transferred to the Giants then to Hawthorn, be the next recruiting target for a KPF for Collingwood.
Would this South Australian youngster be available in the upcoming mid season draft?

Collingwood Domination. Envy of the Nation!
Scully has really come from the clouds this year, which is good for us because prior to that “ only “ Harry Lemmey was considered a quality tall worthy of top ten contention ( both S A ) There’s so much to play out with ladder positions prior to the draft but now with two highly regarded KPF prospects in the top ten, then at least we’re a better chance to secure one. Let’s remember, not every club is looking for KPFs and there’s always more security in choosing the safer midfield option. Looking at the highlights of both, Scully looks more mobile and agile but Lemmey looks a bit stronger ( but that can change )robevpau1 wrote:https://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/afl/top-draft-prospects-lethal-goal-kicking/video/16ef2b3a8ac1b0c9d413c19bacaa411e

No. Any nominations in the upcoming MSD need to have already had nominated in the earlier 2021 N D. Scully was too young to have nominated in that 2021 N D. The first draft he is eligible to nominate for will be the 2022 N D.Boot wrote:Tom Scully, initially I though you were taking the piss, suggesting the recently retired former No.1 draft pick who started at Melbourne (after they took him instead of choosing Dustin Martin) then transferred to the Giants then to Hawthorn, be the next recruiting target for a KPF for Collingwood.

Cash Cow Paddy Dow
Is he the new Brayden Sier, or could he be the next Will Brodie? We're in the market for a big bodied mid. Is he our guy?

What do we think about Horne-Francis holding contract talks with North? Probably nothing in it, but could he be eying off a return to South Australia? That'd kill North if it happened.

Is Hill worth another crack? Sounds like he's keen to leave again and that GWS may grant his wishes this time.GIANT STILL WANTS OUT AS LIST OF SUITORS GROWS

Midfielders are a dime a dozen, we need talls to make a spine for years to come. We have midfielders coming out of every orifice , some may make it some may not, when we get a chance we need to get talls.magpieazza wrote:Gawd we need quality midfielders post haste.
You could have the best midfield in the game, but if they don't have forward targets how many games do you win?

Don't really think he'll help us out that much. I'm concerned he's an accumulator but doesn't hurt opposition teams. Only if he's very cheap.mattdally wrote:Tom Mitchell - has fallen out with Sam Mitchell and dropped this week. Gettable - play him in the guts and let him do what he does best.
How's Bobby Hill going this year? I haven't seen many GWS games but he seems to have had a quiet season stats wise.
