Exactly, just fishing for a comment that can be used out of context to blow up a story. And on a sensitive topic such as racism. The media should start being banned I reckon. They are the cause of many issues, including the metal health of certain players.BazBoy wrote:Absolutely deplorable behaviour from the media (but that I expect of the germs)

Ships passing each other in the night, mate. Most footy fans would be stunned to learn how often coaches staff and players never see each other throughout the week.stui magpie wrote:I'll accept he knew nothing about it but he was clearly there from 2010 to 2015 unless he is telling porkies on his own Linkedin profile.

Don’t think the Donald Trump approach is is the right solutionBazBoy wrote:As for our pressers there must be a line of questions that they aren’t permitted to ask and if they cross that line they are banned for a period from attending
Besides, they’re not “our” pressers, they’re an AFL event that coaches are mandated to participate in

Fair to say it's been a good appointment

Craig McRae has Collingwood well and truly in the finals hunt.
McRae masterminded the Magpies to a stirring Queen’s Birthday win over reigning premiers Melbourne to further enhance their finals credentials.
The first-year coach has ignited a Collingwood revival with the Pies already recording more wins in 2022 than they did for the whole of last year.
David King has praised the “phenomenal” job McRae has done since taking the coaching reigns last September.
“Coaching matters. The way Craig McRae set that game up yesterday (Monday) had a massive impact on that game early,” King told SEN’s Whateley.
“I’m in love with what he’s doing at Collingwood. It’s phenomenal what he’s done.
“He’s even getting Mason Cox to fire. It was a great spectacle yesterday.”
Monday’s win over the Demons was another significant scalp for the Magpies having already beaten top eight sides Carlton, Fremantle and St Kilda.
Garry Lyon says the 26-point margin could’ve been greater such was Collingwood’s superiority.
“I could not be more complimentary with the way they played yesterday,” Lyon said on SEN Breakfast.
“They should’ve been in front at quarter-time, should’ve been in front at half-time and in the end the 26 points could’ve been bigger.
“They were outstanding.”
The eighth-placed Magpies (8-5) have the bye this week before taking on GWS at the MCG on June 26.
Collingwood will look to make it five straight wins when they meet the Giants in Round 15.

^ Spot on. Leppitsch, Bolton as well as Skipworth have all done a great job this season.
McRae's always acknowledging them in his pressers, and emphasising the roles they're playing in our success.
